The new heroes started their journey pretty underpowered, not even reaching 45% win rate in their opening days. Players getting acquainted with their skill set and some balance changes have finally made heroes playable in high level pubs and also made it possible to start discussing them, since it is unlikely they will be receiving anything but some minor number tweaks in the nearest future.

The Reach beta has concluded and the team is now working hard towards the Season 1 launch. Here we share some of the details on the upcoming Season, and what players can expect when they log in to play.

The new patch is wild, with all the positive and maybe some negative connotations this word implies. As such, we are trying to be extremely cautious when discussing it so that we don’t unnecessarily invoke some misguided disenchantment from the community.

62 new items are available for finding, not purchasing. You can now build your inventory through jungling and not spending your gold. Is this good? Bad? Who knows, it’s too early to tell.

The Reach Beta has been a valuable month for us at Elo. The feedback from our community has allowed us to make considerable progress in refining the key automated systems of the platform and we couldn’t possibly be more excited to see people begin to play in Season One.

This is going to be less of a stats recap and more of a farewell to a patch, which overstayed its welcome for at least a couple of months. Instead of going over the same heroes once more, we felt it is more appropriate to highlight some of the heroes which were outside of the meta at the tournament’s start, but nevertheless had a great impact in the later stages of MDL Chengdu.

Bounty runes, come back gold, ancient creeps, camps stacking, and more. The economy of Dota keeps growing and growing but how does that affect supports and cores?

We’ve done a lot of testing with our current systems in the Reach league and are finally confident in opening it up to more users. Divine level players may now participate in Reach, effective immediately.

The first major tournament of the season is finally happening. Get up to date with all the teams participating, their odds of winning it all, and more!

Patch 7.22 is certainly overstaying its welcome and it clearly shows in the current professional tournaments. There are almost no new meta developments and for the most part the Summit 11 concentrated on the same exact heroes as the tournaments prior.

Captains and drafters are some of the most revered pros in the scene. The genius drafting strategies and counter picks can win the game before the first bounty runes spawn. Here are some draft ideas to try out for your next battle cup tournament.

Reach had an exciting and informative first week of games, with over 1000 matches played, and over 1200 unique players participating. Here’s the rundown on week 1, and what’s coming down the pipeline.

The idea of a tanky frontline hero in the offlane has been repeated over and over again for the last several months. It makes sense on the professional scene, while working incredibly well in pubs. Building survivability items and allowing yourself to be initiated on has become the go to strategy for a lot of teams and it is unlikely to change until after the new patch is released.

MMR may just be a number but a higher number is superior. Read this article to learn a few tips and tricks on growing your MMR number.

The current meta has been established for a long time but teams still must find their slight edge. At ESL One Hamburg 2019, we saw more of what we’ve been seeing for a few months now.

It means, your a highly toxic person with a behavior score of F.

I have 0 reports in 8 years of dota 2.

I guess Valve exaggerated a bit on the different lobby, game, picking modes and options. To many options for a player base which cannot fill all modes in parallel. Recently „strict solo matchmaking“ and new normal game mode turbo split the community once more. But it started with introducing ranked matchmaking, which is a separate mode now for years although the game play is quite the same like in normal. It just splits the player base for public matchmaking in half. At 2013 this was working, but now?

Also community complains about bad manners, language barrier and unfair matchmaking maybe led to higher weights of behavior score, language option and skill bracket width in matchmaking. This is in disfavor for queueing times.

Also I can imagine that because of the toxic community more and more players hide in bot, bot-coop, private lobby and custom game matches because they don‘t have fun in public PvP Dota2. Btw. Bot matches have no queueing time at all and you can pause and even abandon them at any time. Just the right thing for a short match of Dota in between or family guys with obligations. Maybe the Dota community shifts to that kind of players.

I think Valve and the community should think about if they can afford to offer so many modes. This is necessary but a pity, because in fact the versatility in game modes is a positive feature of Dota2. I guess Artifact will split the Dota2 player base some more.

Dota 2 model viewer 3ds

Dota 2 model viewer 3ds

Dota 2 model viewer 3ds

As of the Three Spirits update, users now have public access to the Dota 2 Model Viewer that comes with native support for Dota 2 Models and In-Game Assests and improved Shader support, View Modes and Cloth Physics enabled. This guide will take you through a little course on how to go about using it. I’ll further update it when the SDK is updated in the future.

The Model Viewer is named “hlmv. exe” and can be found in the “bin” folder of your Dota 2 installation.

General locations for the model viewer are –

  • . \Steam\SteamApps\common\dota 2 beta\bin
  • . \Steam\SteamApps\common\dota 2 test\bin

Note: As of November 13, 2013, this can be found only in the Dota 2 Test installation and will be available on the Main Client once the update is ported on November 14, 2013.

When you initially launch the “hlmv. exe“, you might face a couple of errors that can be fixed with easily. They are more or less just some missing files in the directory that need to be addressed.

You will need to copy two files before you can get the Model Viewer running.

    1. Gameinfo. txt – This is the file that pretty much tells your model viewer where to look for the content. This is normally found in the “dota” folder of your Dota or Dota 2 Test Installation. Depending on which model viewer you are planning on running, copy that “gameinfo. txt” from the ‘dota‘ folder to the “bin” folder where the hlmv. exe is located.

The gameinfo. txt should basically have something like this inside. In any case you cannot find it in your folders, just copy the text below and paste it to Notepad and save it as gameinfo. txt and you’ll have your file.

2. scripts/game_sounds_manifest. txt – This file can be found within the VPK’s but I’ll attach it here for sake of easy finding. You need make a new folder within the ‘bin‘ folder called “scripts” and copy this file into that.

Get it here: Dropbox [dl. dropboxusercontent. com]

Once you have both the files copied, Dota 2 Model Viewer should be up and running. Now to get the models working on it.

Note: If you are getting the “Error post-loading model“, go to your gameinfo. txt file and scroll down to the bottom. Find “SearchPaths” and under that look for the second Game column. If it reads “platform” just change it to “dota. Dota 2 model viewer 3ds ” instead and it should fix your issue.

The Model Viewer currently doesn’t directly detect content off the VPK’s so you will have to do it the old-fashioned way of extracting the models first and placing them in the folders to get it working.

So the first step would be to extract the models / materials / animations and other raw content from ins >[nemesis. thewavelength. net] .

Download and install GCFScape. Now visit your Dota 2 folder (C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\dota 2 beta\dota) and find the “pak01_dir. vpk” which is the parent extraction file that will rip out all the content from all archives attached to it. Open this file in GCFScape and extract all the content to a new folder.

Note: Now make a backup of your entire Dota 2 Installation and copy / experiment with these files there just to be on the safer side. Try not to mess with your default installation.

Once you have them extracted, you will have a new folder created called “root” with a bunch of files inside. Now all you need to do is copy the files inside this folder to the “. \SteamApps\common\dota2 beta\dota” folder.

This will load up the content in the Dota 2 Model Viewer natively. You can also copy just the ‘models‘ and ‘materials‘ files if you’re only looking to view the models.

Now your content is place. All that is left is to launch the “hlmv. exe” and load the models.

There are quite a few benefits to viewing Dota 2 content in the new model viewer when compared to what the CS:GO, Alien Swarm and Source Filmmaker SDK’s offered.

1. Shader Support – To give you a better understanding of how the materials will look inside the game. As you can see in the image below, rim lighting and other material effects load up perfect.

2. Cloth Physics – Models such as Abaddon’s Cape, Lina’s Skirt, Invoker’s Cape, Couriers and more have cloth physics on them and the older model viewers could not simulate this.

You can turn it off and turn it on from the Options menu at the top.

3. New View Modes – There are new view modes available that will allow you to view the models with Normals enabled (two modes) and Value only.

You can check out a preview of what they do below.

4. Unload All – One of the more nifty features now available to users is the option to unload all loaded weapon slots. This should propel your work speed by a good amount.

In addition to this, there are a couple of other nifty features that are semi-functional right now. You can tinker around with them if you wish to. I’ll cover them in more detail in a future gu >

DOTA2 console commands

The most useful command here is probably dota_force_right_click_attack 1
More will be added as they come. The essentials DO NOT require sv_cheats
and as far as I know do not violate any official competition rules.

Turn on console

  • In steam, right cilck on “Dota 2” > properties
  • Click on Set Launcher Options and add – console
  • Save and start game. The default hotkey is ““ (backtick)

  • -w

to set window width
– h

to set window height

Dota 2: DreamLeague Major Day 4 Highlights

Two more teams were eliminated from the Major yesterday. In addition to that, Team Secret were finally brought down to their knees after an impressive performance by the StarLadder Minor champions Vici Gaming. Today, another two teams had to pack up and go home. One of them was definitely not expected. Let’s take a look at what happened.

    Lower Bracket

Ninjas In Pyjamas vs. Forward Gaming

As expected in those deadly best-of-ones, both teams got some of their most familiar heroes.

The laning stage was relatively slow even though the two teams had one jungler each who could have helped with the ganks. NiP’s offlane did an outstanding job and zoned Resolut1ion out of the lane.

One of the main issues for FG was the healing output from NiP’s lineup. Having Chen, WW and Juggernaut was a bit too much because FG’s damage was just not enough. Slowly but steadily, PPD’s team gained a significant advantage and was able to get a lane of rax.

The NA team was hoping to get some magical Black Hole from their Enigma, but that did not happen. Having no way to counter their enemies, Forward Gaming GG’ed out.

NiP’s next opponent will be Evil Geniuses, which means that PPD will face his old team.

Team Liquid vs. Chaos Esports Club

Undoubtedly the biggest surprise of DreamLeague Season 11 so far was this game. The TI 7 champions got eliminated by Chaos Esports Club after they dropped to the Lower Bracket due to their poor group stage performance. The South American team needed just 22 minutes to completely run down Kuroky and his teammates.

The Ursa + Omni combo is kind of tricky to pull off because it’s hard to recover if you get stomped early on. Luckily this did not happen, and Ursa was having the time of his life. Having over 10k gold advantage just 15 minutes in was a clear sign where this was going.

The next challenge ahead of Chaos Esports Club was Virtus. Pro. We are yet to see if they can do the impossible two times in a row.

    Upper Bracket

    Evil Geniuses vs. Keen Gaming

SumaiL and his team are well known for their incredible win rating against the Chinese teams. However, today’s result was different.

In game one, EG needed just 23 minutes to finish off eLeVeN and his team-mates. Fly and Co. grabbed the lead early and kept it until the very end. KG’s Phantom assassin was just unable to keep up with Artour’s Naix.

Game two started with a first pick Ursa from EG, something that usually does not go well because the hero can be easily kited. However, probably the most interesting pick was Underlord, who was played by SumaiL in the mid lane.

The NA powerhouse had 3 roots in total after Sumail got Rod of Atos as a first item. This helped them to dominate the early and mid game by constantly ganking their enemies. Despite that, Keen Gaming’s Sven still managed to find enough farm to be the strongest hero on the map.

A very messy fight happened around the 36 minutes that actually went in favor of KG, despite wasting a few buybacks. The Chinese took full advantage of the situation, and after killing EG yet again, they were able to get two lanes of rax and just a few minutes later – the win.

In the third decisive game, Keen Gaming had a way better draft that was able to sweep through EG. The Spectre pick from the NA team was not working at all because the Chinese were just way too aggressive. On top of that, EG’s supports were way too underleveled to do anything noticeable, which also added up to their loss.

EG now have to fight for their survival in the Lower Bracket.

    Virtus. Pro vs. Fnatic

In probably the most intriguing series of the day, VP had to face the SEA powerhouse.

The mid matchup in game one was fascinating to watch because No[o]ne’s Shadow Fiend had to fight against Abed’s legendary Templar Assassin.

Both teams did reasonably well for the first 25 minutes of the game, but neither was able to get a clear lead over the other. However, after wiping all five of VP’s players, Fnatic was able to get the Aegis and slowly started to gain an advantage.

VP tried to defend their base, but they just did not have the needed resources to challenge the push of Fnatic. DJ was one of the main reasons for his teams’ success. He was always there when they needed him.

Being just one game away from the victory, Fnatic decided to pick the signature Timbersaw for iceiceice. On the other hand, VP went with a carry that can actually right click, unlike Ember Spirit in game one.

Similar to game one, this one was very even during its early stages. Fnatic had the lead in terms of kills and were the more active team. Despite that, No[o]ne’s Shadow Fiend was sitting on top of the net worth and was something that Fnatic had to take into consideration every time they went into a fight. On the contrary, Ramzess was nowhere to be found. As in game one, the young prodigy was unable to unleash his full potential.

Fnatic were building a small lead, but after yet another 5-man wipe on their opponents, they were able to claim two lanes of Rax, and the game was pretty much lost for VP.

Congratulations to Fnatic, who will advance further to meet their next opponent – Keen Gaming.

This guide will explain how to create a stylized banner for your team in Dota 2.

Before we get started you are going to need a few tools so you can follow along with the guide.

You will need some form of image editor. In this guide I will be using Adobe Photoshop CS5 but other versions of the program should work just fine. You can use GIMP or PAINT. NET as a free alternative to Photoshop as well.

Additionally you are going to need the Dota 2 Banner Templates. You can create everything yourself from scratch but the Dota 2 team have created some pretty great starting points which we will be using in this tutorial.

You can find links to all of the necessary stuff below.

You have four separate spots for branding when you create a team. To edit your team logos navigate to the Community tab on the main menu within Dota 2. Once you are there you will be able to click on the My Teams tab and then choose Edit Logo located at the bottom of the pane.

Below is an explanation of each logo and where they will be placed within the game, along with their corresponding size requirements.

Team Interface Logo: This image will be used on the HUD, lobbies and so on. This image will be re-sized to 250 x 150 pixels. Below is where you will see this image in the game.

Team Sponsors: This image will be used to display team sponsorship on a Team Profile panel. It will be re-sized to 250 x 150 pixels. Below is where you will see this image in the game.

Team Base Logo: This logo will be used to decorate your in-game base. It will be re-sized to 256 x 256 pixels. Below is where you will see this image in the game.

Team Banner Logo: This logo will be placed on your in-game banners. It will be re-sized to 256 x 256 pixels. Below is where you will see this image in the game.

Before we begin you will need to figure out what it is you want to use for your banners. In this tutorial I will be creating a fake team called “Tiny Cat”. I will be using images of my cat called Matilda, she’s cute.

If you’d like to follow along with this tutorial using the same images I use you can find them below.

Unlike other Source games, Dota 2 handles transparent images in a more native way. Instead of relying on Alpha Channels, Dota 2 is able to import a transparent PNG and have it read it in a way you would expect.

The Interface, Sponsor and Base Logo areas handle transparency normally. The only exception is the Banner Logo. Try to imagine that the banners have no background to them at all. If you imported a transparent image in to the game, the only areas that will render will be the visible parts of the image. In other words the image you are importing is not being layered on to something else, it just floats there.

When I import this image in to Dota 2 without any transparency all I get is a basic rectangle shape for my banner.

If I erase some areas of the image I start to form a different shape, notice that nothing is rendered in the transparent areas.

You’ll also probably notice that only half of the image is being shown. This is because when the image is imported in the game it is draped over a pole. The left side will be displayed from the front and the right side will be displayed from the back. With the default game camera you will primarily see the front side of the pole only. In other words you have 256 x 128 of usable space for the front, and 256 x 128 usable space for the back.

The Dota 2 team has provided some excellent starting points for creating team banners. They have included some basic shapes along with some nice textures which you can use to improve your banner and to make it look good within the game. If you don’t already have the team banner templates you can grab them here.

For this tutorial I will be using the template titled border_invertedarrow_00. Open up the image in Photoshop by going to File > Open and selecting the template.

With the template open the first thing we are going to do is create a new layer. You can do this by going to the Layers panel and selecting the Create New Layer option. I’ve highlighted this selection below.

Once you have created a new layer the next thing we are going to do is move it so it’s underneath the template. You can do this by selecting the layer on the panel and dragging it underneath the existing layer.

Any image imported on this layer will now show up underneath the template.

Open up the image you want to use for your banner and copy it so it’s on your clipboard. Go back to Photoshop and paste it in, you can do this by tapping Control + V or by going to Edit > Paste. You should now have something which looks similar to what I have below.

If you’re using the same images as I am the scale will be way off when you first import it. Click on the Move Tool and make sure you have Show Transform Controls checked at the top. Once this is turned on you will see some areas around the image that you can use to resize it. Grab one of the corners and hold down Shift on your keyboard. This will keep the image constrained perfectly so it’s impossible to make it look squished or deformed.

When you’re done you should have something which looks like this.

You can repeat this process until you have completed making your banner. In my example I didn’t cover the back area of the banner so I created another new layer underneath the template one and imported a second image to fill up all of the white space.

The next part in the process is to remove the excess areas which are outside of the banner template. Because the templates have a thick border this is very easy to do. Make sure you are happy with your banner design before proceeding as it will not be as easy to edit it past this point.

Hold down Shift and select every layer besides the one which has the banner template on it. With everything selected, right click and choose Merge Layers.

Your Layers panel should now look something like this. Both the front and back are all on one layer and the template is on another.

Select the Polygon Lasso tool by right clicking the Lasso tool on the Tools Menu. This will bring up a sub-menu where the Polygon Lasso tool will be an option.

Select the layer which has your design on it and trace around the areas which fall outside of the template. Because the border of the template is thick it doesn’t have to be precise, so long as it doesn’t go inside of the banner. You should have something which looks like this.

Hit Delete on your keyboard and you’re done! If you followed along with this guide exactly you should now have something which looks like this.

All you need to do now is save your work. Go to File > Save As and choose PNG on the drop down menu.

All you need to do now is test it out in Dota 2 to see how it looks. Navigate to your team profile by going to Community > My Teams > Edit Team Info. Import the banner we just created under the Team Banner Logo section.

To test it out on the map create a Private Lobby by going to Play > Create Lobby. When you join a team a drop-down menu will appear at the top which will allow you to select your team. This will activate your team logos on the map.

And there we have it! You have successfully created a stylized team banner to show off your team in-game. Have fun and be creative. See if you can come up with some unique shapes and ideas, think outside the box!

    Liquid vs. Nigma

Kuro “KuroKy” (pronounced kuːroʊkiː) Salehi Takhasomi is a professional Dota 2 player who is playing for Nigma. Rubick dota 2 pro kuroky dota

    Contents

    Biography [ edit ]

KuroKy currently grew up in Berlin, Germany. [1] KuroKy suffered from disabilities to his legs, and would struggle to use his legs. He stated that this weakness was what led to him to play video games.

    DotA [ edit ]

KuroKy played for a few German DotA teams before joining his first international team, mousesports, where he played with players such as Drayich. This mousesports lineup attended DreamHack Winter 2008 with Puppey acting as stand-in; this was to be the beginning of a long relationship between KuroKy and Puppey. KuroKy then joined Ks. int, which at one point had a total number of 9 players and looked more like a mix than an actual team. Some well known players in the DotA scene were on the team, such as Puppey, Vigoss and LevenT.

    Dota 2 [ edit ]

    2011 – 2012: Early Days [ edit ]

KuroKy’s first public appearance in Dota 2 was The International 2011 along with the game’s debut at Gamescom. He participated in the tournament under GosuGamers. net with teammates Kebap, Azen, and Mirakel. Unfortunately for them, they dropped all three group stage games and were eliminated by MiTH. Trust in the first round of the losers’ bracket.

After the unsuccessful run at The International, KuroKy went on to play in several other teams with him as the star player; the teams included PANZER and 10,000th, which were also jokingly called KKy + 4. In May 2012, he joined Virtus. pro in the hopes to qualify for a spot to play at The International 2012. [2] They won their first round match of the West Qualifiers against mTw but were eventually eliminated by mousesports and zNation. However, he got his chance to play at The International 2012 when ComeWithMe ran into visa issues and mousesports invited KuroKy to the event in his place. A stroke of luck for KuroKy and the other mouz players happened when MUFC ran into visa issues and could not make it to Seattle, leaving an extra spot for the backup teams. mouz played a best of five series against World Elite to determine who would replace MUFC in the main tournament and they took the wildcard match handedly with a 3-0 score. The main tournament itself was not a success for KuroKy as he was knocked out in the first round of the playoffs and could not improve upon his results from The International 2011.

KuroKy joined mousesports on September 16 as a temporary member, along with Alex and Kebap, to fill their roster for SLTV Star Series Season 3. [3]

    2013 – 2014: Natus Vincere [ edit ]

After a short and well received stay at Mousesports, KuroKy joined Natus Vincere on February 28, 2013 as their support player alongs >[4] His first year on Na’Vi was very successful with many first place finishes and a second place finish at The International 2013. However, the second half of his Na’Vi career was largely disappointing and culminated in a 7-8th place finish at The International 2014. He left Na`Vi on August 18, 2014. [5]

    2014 – 2015: Team Secret [ edit ]

Following his departure, it was revealed on August 27th, 2014 that he was on the roster for Secret Team, a team he formed with Puppey. Joining this duo were friends and former teammates on Fnatic Fly and N0tail as well as s4 from Alliance. KuroKy initially played the carry position for the newly formed Team Secret but success eluded the team as their best result was a second place finish at Star Ladder. A roster shuffle took place, swapping Fly and N0tail for Arteezy and zai from Evil Geniuses resulted in KuroKy returning to the support position alongside Puppey once again. This new Team Secret roster was more successful than the previous and, having won 4 consecutive LAN finals, they approached The International 2015 as heavy favorites. However, Team Secret exited the tournament surprisingly early to a disappointing 7-8th place finish amidst severe internal issues.

2015 and onwards: Team Liquid [ edit ]

Following TI 5 KuroKy left Team Secret to form a new team, 5Jungz, with himself as captain, where he handpicked his teammates: fellow German FATA – would play m >[6] . Team Liqu >[7] The pulsating series at the Russian capital over the course of a week saw KuroKy and his fellow team mates secure their maiden LAN win of the 2016 calendar year. At the Manila Major, Team Liquid was once again able to reach the grand finals, but finished as runners up once again, this time falling to OG. KuroKy was tied with 343 for the highest number of different heroes played at the event. Unsurprisingly, Team Liquid was invited to attend The International 2016, however another disappointingly early exit would be in store for KuroKy.

In the wake of TI6, FATA – and JerAx would leave the team and their replacements were BuLba, from Evil Geniuses, and Miracle-, from rivals OG. The new competitive season saw Team Liqu >[8] , in August 2017. After attending every single TI, KuroKy had finally done it and hoisted the Aegis after a 3-0 sweep against Newbee in the Grand Finals.

A Courier is a unit that transports items from the shops to the heroes. Every player gets a courier at the beginning of the match. The courier starts out walking, but may gain the ability to fly on higher levels.

    Contents

    Periodic gold [ edit ]

Each player’s courier passively grants the player gold over time. While their courier is alive, the player gains 1 unreliable gold every 0.7 seconds (starting from 0:00 on the game clock), which results in 85 gold every minute. This passive gold income increases by 2 per minute based on the courier’s level.

    Leveling [ edit ]

A player’s courier levels up as the player’s hero does. With each level, the courier gains additional 10 movement speed, and 10 health, and provides 2 additional gold per minute.

On the other side, each level also increases the courier’s gold bounty by 5, experience bounty by 20, and respawn time by 7 seconds.

Besides these level bonuses, certain levels have additional effects:

    • Level 5: The courier gains a pair of wings, turning into a flying unit with flying vision.
    • Level 10: Unlocks the Speed Burst ability.
    • Level 15: Couriers gain the ability to place Observer and Sentry Wards .
    • Level 20: Unlocks the Shield ability.
    • Level 25: Couriers gain the ability to cast any item abilities.

    Inventory [ edit ]

Like a hero, the courier possesses 6 inventory slots and 3 backpack slots. However, before reaching level 25, it has restrictions. Almost every item gets muted when in the courier’s inventory, rendering all their stats and abilities disabled and unusable for the courier. Muted items are darkened out in its inventory.

The following items are not muted and can be used fully at any level:

The following items are not muted either, but have restrictions:

    • Bottle : Casting does nothing but trigger the cooldown. The courier’s level does not matter. The courier cannot pick up runes with the bottle at all.
    • Gem of True Sight : Although never muted, the gem simply does not prov >Tango (Shared) : Although never muted, the courier cannot pick this item up at all.
    • Tome of Knowledge : Casting does nothing but trigger the cooldown, without consuming the item. The courier’s level does not matter.
    • Observer and Sentry Wards : Although never muted, attempting to place wards before the required level gives the “Item is not usable by Couriers” error message.

Bes > Aegis of the Immortal , and Divine Rapiers . A courier may only hold a Divine Rapier when it got combined in its inventory. It may not be given a rapier by another unit, and it may not pick up any rapiers from the ground.

Items which drop on death are dropped by the courier as well if killed while carrying such items. Items which cannot be placed in backpacks may not be placed in the courier’s backpack either.

    Turbo Mode [ edit ]

In Turbo Mode, the courier starts at level 6, so that it is always flying. It also has a fixed movement speed of 1100, is permanently invulnerable, and cannot be directly controlled by the player. It can still be ordered around using the abilities, like a regular courier, but does not accept any other move orders. The courier automatically delivers items to the player, checking the stash in 5 second intervals. This auto-deliver can be toggled on and off, with the Auto Deliver ability. Since the courier is permanently invulnerable, it does not have the Shield ability, the Auto Deliver toggle ability takes its place instead. Although useless, it still has the Speed Burst ability.

The Turbo Mode courier’s inventory follows the same rules as the default courier. Items are muted until reaching level 25, and wards may be placed at level 15.
