I have the exact same problem
If you can post a crash dump file (in the folder where you have steam installed there should be a folder called “dumps”) I will try to give you more information about this.
Some users have been having compatibility problems with gamepad drivers in the 64-bit version of reborn (which we just activated). So if you are running a 64-bit version of windows and you have a game pad connected try disabling that.
well to be honest i dont have any such gamepad or driver so this seems like a lame excuse, as the game still crashes and this started after the sept 1 patch before it was running smoothly.
I see several startup crashes in our database in the nvidia driver. All of these crashes are driver version 355.60. Nvidia has released 355.82 so if you are running 355.60 you should try upgrading.
Again if you posted a dump file I could tell you whether it was this crash or not. Also I installed 355.60 on my nvidia machine and did not reproduce the crash, but it is possible it is configuration related (and my nvidia GPU isn’t the same as the one mentioned by SharnalK).
I just add a dump file (with. txt). I don’t know if it’s good.
My driver version is 355.82, no difference here.

Ok – I can see from your dump file that you are crashing in the nvidia driver. It’s trying to run some AVX code. It’s just a guess but maybe you have a processor that supports AVX but you are running windows 7 without any service packs installed. If that is the case your CPU can run AVX but the OS won’t allow it and the nvidia driver has a bug detecting this case.
Otherwise you may need a different version of the nvidia driver or they will have to ship a fix.
Looking at our crash dump server makes me think my guess is correct. It appears as though the nvidia driver issue is 64-bit only (all nvidia driver crashes I’ve seen so far are 64-bit windows 7 without service pack 1). So you can probably work around this by launching the 32-bit version of reborn. That’s also why it just started happening. We just switched the default to 64-bit on 64-bit systems.
I have seen alot of threads regarding these matters and after awhile, these threads got buried in oblivion. Therefore, similar threads keep coming up again and again.
Updating display driver Crashes are caused by graphic card on most laptops. No, I’m not saying *insert brand* is bad or *insert gpu* is bad. But drivers on laptop are mostly unique, because the gpu for laptop is NOT the same as the one used on PCs. Updating driver always comes first, however, do not download it from the developer’s website. But try searching for it on laptop’s manufacturer’s link. For example, HP laptop users, should find the driver download from HP support pages instead. the driver version from manufacturer will be outdated (or slowly updated), but sadly, thats how it is
UI & HUD is loaded, but the screen is pitch black physx conflict or graphic setting conflict. go to your graphic 3d setting from your desktop. put DotA 2 setting on “use application setting”. then go to dota 2 in game option cogwheel, disable Ambient Occlusion, Specular & Specular Bloom. using graphic setting to “override” in-game setting most of the time, will give better graphic. unfortunately, there isnt anything graphical mumbo jumbo for Dota 2. so it is not about “my GPU can handle it” but more like “this game isnt facilitating for any enhancement”.
Game crashes on load, cannot even go to in-game options. Sometimes the game load until map load and then kicked back to menu 3d setting conflicts, commonly on laptops go to your Steam Library, select DotA 2 game, click on Properties on the right. on Property, in the main tab, click Set Launch Option and put – nod3d9ex Launch Option command is forcing a specific setting. Important: after any game client updates, there are times where this setting can be put out. just do some test. on previous patch, this setting could be needed, but on future patch, it may not be needed. if enabling this setting is crashing the game now, try to run the game without it. see if that changes
Games crashes, freezes, stutters after 1 or 2 games poor memory dumping. no matter how big your RAM is, if it is not managed, tons of temporary files will clog your cache and ended up in crashes. protip: Windowed mode uses LESS memory than Fullscreen btw. if you have lots of games, I would recommend creating a partition on your harddrive, around 10gb should be enough (if you could spare more, might as well do so). THIS IS NOT TWEAKING THE SYSTEM, it will improve your memory performance, even for other games. so first, right click on My Computer, then select Properties, Select Advance System Setting on the left side. that should open the System Properties panel, under Advanced tab (it is the current view anyway), you’ll see a Performance Box, click Settings. Now you have a Performance Options Panels open, select Advance tab, You should tick adjust best performance for Programs instead background services. Now click on Virtual Memory Change button just below that. Untick the Automanage Paging file for all drives, we don’t want that. by default, your OS directory (usually C) is the one system managed. Select C directory, tick No Pagine File and click SET. Now select your new partitioned directory that you created earlier (the 10gb one), select custome size. and put the maximum size as high as you can, and put the minimum value atleast 100mb smaller than the maximum. and the click SET. THE SYSTEM MUST BE REBOOTED.
the reason of this “lack of memory” is mainly caused by a full C: directory. There wasn’t enough space for a system to manage memory, therefore it clogs the system. Most users like to maximize their C: directory, thinking that C: (boot & page file) is the same as other directories (sadly they are not).
Game stuck on loading wallpaper, and then failed queuing (fail to load) it is graphical issue. this could happen in any games, but quite common in Dota 2. a “wrong” driver install or graphic tuning (clocking) could cause this. also, sometimes graphic card need to be restarted. shutting down the PC is a good way to restart VBIOS (graphic card os). I know it is going to be a lot of hassle to shutdown and turning the PC on again, especially while loading a Dota 2 game, but so far, restarting a PC seemed to be enough (but a shutdown is better).
for driver installation, please pick a proper driver. most of the times, latest driver is not the best one. always go for the stable one never go for beta drivers, since beta is intended for game developing purpose (for developers).
I dont mean to insult, but please, graphic drivers is not an angry birds update. do not treat it the same. “woot angry birds update, must download!”. If current driver isnt causing troubles or working fine, do not update it.
hope this helps
also, for anyone wondering, I am using windows 8.1 and I have no problem at all. Win 8 is great and I really like it (OPINION) No, I am not promoting win 8 or anything, since I know that win 7 has alot more driver support and compliance than win 8. (FACT) the reason I am having no problem on win 8.1 is because I do clean install and proper drivers install. plus I understand alot on hardware and PC/OS characteristics, ofcourse I work hard to make my system to work near perfecty on win 8.1. meh, I even understand my PC more than I understand my wife (lol)
ed: already fixed some typoes, Im sure there are alot more, and will fix it on next edit

Liquid has released a statement that this is a private matter for Miracle and they do not want to discuss it further right now.
The rumour that it is visa related appears to be false.
Liquid to play with standin at the Major
Update 16/1 15:15 CET: Team Liquid has provided us with a comment on the situation saying “Miracle has a private, personal matter to take care of. He is a very private person so we’re not revealing what it is right now.”
Reports have come in that Team Liquid will have to play The Chongqing Major without their starplayer Amer “Miracle-” Al-Barkawi. Information is scarce at the moment but this seems to be a last minute change as no information regarding this has been released by StarLadder, Valve, or Team Liquid themselves before today. At this point in time the closest to a full confirmation we have comes from Chinese carry player Chu “shadow” Zeyu, most known for winning TI6 with Wings Gaming, who edited his Doyu stream title to “I’ll be back after playing for Liquid in the Major”. Russian caster V1lat also tweeted out that Miracle – did not arrive in China with his team.
No matter what the reason is for Miracle’s absence from the tournament, Liqu >

Do you have ANY confirmation AT ALL that his visa with retracted, other than a single post from a Chinese forum saying that’s the case? Can we PLEASE stop giving that post any attention at all?
Edit: I just realized you commented here without even reading the post. I purposely included a section about why it’s highly unlikely that the rumor on Reddit is true. Did you read that part?

I am confused, you created a topic with the title “Miracle – to miss the Chongqing Major” and now you are saying it might not be true?
I usually assume that threads that are on the Community News section of the frontpage of Liquiddota are confirmed, especially if its a topic about a Liquid player/team.
I would be very happy to be wrong though.

He said that the connection between “major in China” and “Miracle missing” is pure speculation. You were talking about miracle getting randomly banned, which is just entirely unfounded.
Matumbaman out of Team Liqu >
Team Liquid have announced that Matumbaman will be leaving the team only a few weeks before Epicenter and that they are looking for someone to replace him for TI9. Matumbaman has been on Team Liquid’s roster since late 2015 and his departure from Team Liquid marks the end of an era. Dota 2 miracle reddit the division It also ends the longest standing Dota 2 team in history since GH had joined the roster back on January 2nd, 2017.
This image had just been released by the Russian studio analysts showcasing just how incredible it was that Team Liquid had stayed together for so long.
Team Liquid has had a bit of a spotty DPC season, struggling to attend the first few Majors with their completed roster but eventually placed 2nd at MDL Paris which secured their TI9 invite and proved they still had what it takes to go the distance. Matumbaman’s accomplishments while on Team Liquid can never be understated and he will most certainly be missed.

Does this not affect the DPC standing?

Not enough to matter.
As for the move, this is a real surprise, yet at the same time I can see why it would happen. Still, finding another core to work with Miracle is going to be an issue and unless they’re going the pubstar route, it’s going to be rough sledding.
Thank you matumbaman for all you’ve done.
I’m not sure who Liquid could consider replacing him with. maybe some youngblood?
On the other hand I don’t know where Matu is going to go either. It seems from the twitter he wants to keep playing, idk if any relevant DPC teams are going to take him.
For Liquid, as sad as it is, a roster change felt inevitable, after such a long time. Tells you all you need to know about the character of all of them that they stayed together that long.
Maybe they should move Miracle – permanently to safelane and look for a mid?
I did not see this coming at all and it makes me sad. Weird seeing a change to the most stable roaster in Dota and perhaps esports. End of an era. Dota 2 miracle reddit the division
Best of luck to Matu, you will be missed. Thanks for the time you spent with Liquid. TI7 was one of the most dominant performances we, the fans, have had the privilege to watch.
As for Liquid, excited to see what the future will bring!
I hope he will start streaming soon, same were very entertaining fun to watch. And of course, I hope he will find a team so that he can attend TI as well. Matu take my energy, my heart will be rooting for you even on the new team.
The day has finally come that one of the most successful lineup of all times have come to an end. Would have not thought that he is being replaced but more due to that his mandatory military service is still not finished. I feared this day and now it happened. so. who will be replacing him? Any ideas?
I don’t see a better self-sacrificial pos 1/2 atm. And a conventional 1/2 would require MC or Miracle to make much more space (likely MC). Also it’s not like Matu hasn’t won lanes vs Sumail/Noone/MidOne/Maybe, he just on average gets sacced more.
The only player that plays a similar style at a similar level would be Fata, but I assume he’d want to go to TI with the team he played with all season long? Also imo Matu has the better hero-pool for how they play and isn’t inferior mechanics wise.
Zero clue who they’ll pick up.
Carry: HfN? Madara? Resolution? Gorgc? EternalEnvy?(pls save us from this scenario)
Fata ist playing with NiP at the minor, so he will be out. I just hope Kuro is not switching back to Core.

No way they get Fata. Dota 2 miracle reddit the division Matu is 10 times better than him in everything. Probably Kuro found a pub player that he thinks will fit their style.
Still sad to see Matumbaman go, but hopefull he’ll find a good team to have fun. 4 anchors+ sea captain v.3 incoming?
The damn chance is very very low. I opened like 50+ chests and 90% of the time get commons. And only 1 gold tier set dropped.
So the chances might be 90 out of 100 for common 10 out of 100 for rare 1-2 out of 100 for very rare 0.1-0.3 out of 100 for extremely rare
This thing is not tradable or marketable so you have to try your luck for it. Devoted people are buying lots of commons and uncommons from the market to craft chests, which is kinda good, relieves Valve from all that useless old junk. Personally I recycled 1/4 of my armory for nothing.
Not on my case though. I opened a coin treasure and it included 2 items from the Gold tier.
1. Timber Set – Gold Tier 2. Golden Rubick Mantle – Gold Tier
But my luck only happens with worthless items. With the Bewitching Flare, the Tools of the Hellsworn, the Relics of Ribbi’tar. things like those make me cri everytime.

i heard wd bundle is really hard to get coz you can put prismatic gem in that item
Lol I got 2 bewitching flare.
I was able to trade one so it’s alright. The only thing I’m missing is the WD bundle.
Got wd bundle pretty easy, but missing warlock set with cool golem.
https://www. reddit. com/r/DotA2/comments/3occbx/be_warned_golden_ornithomacer_mantle_scam/ here is some info about the chances being somewhere around 1 in 1000. I remember that Ragnarok Online game where chances were 1 in 10000 but you hadn’t to spend your cash for every try there =)

I hadn’t really thought about it much, but this line kind of got me: “The fact that Valve hasn’t released the odds and hasn’t explained anything at all about the item just further indicates that it is a blatant attempt to choke the market and raise overall market prices.”
Well no duh. They’ve been trying to regain some control over the market ever since the fiasco that was the TI4 Compendium XP boost. In terms of having an actual market, needing to use electronic storage space to record thousands upon thousands of penny-items doesn’t make a lot of sense. When commons sell for 3 cents and rares for 4-5, normal market forces aren’t at work here.
From day 1 I’ve said that what DotA needs is a REAL crafting system for people to feed all the worthless junk they don’t want into. This is the next best thing.

Dota 2 is a 2013 multiplayer online battle arena video game and the stand-alone sequel to the Defense of the Ancients (DotA) Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne mod. Developed by Valve Corporation, Dota 2 was released as a free-to-play title for Microsoft Windows, OS X and Linux in July 2013, concluding a Windows-only public beta testing phase that began in 2011. The game is available exclusively through Valve’s content-delivery platform, Steam.
Team Malaysia was a team formed in October 2014, in time to participate in the World Cyber Arena 2014. The team consists of the same lineup that represented Orange Esports during The International 2013, picking up Mushi soon after he left Team DK along with XtiNcT, Net, Ohaiyo and kYxY from Titan. By the end of 2014, the players had gone their separate ways.
Following the release of EHOME Malaysia by the Chinese organization, the team continued to play together under the name of Team Malaysia. Dota 2 team malaysia vs uae

Alchemist is a team of two beings, the Keen Razzil Darkbrew, and his ogre accomplice. Razzil is member of the Darkbrew Family, known for their interest in chymistry. Forever on the search for materials to use in alchemy, the pair extracts ingredients from the corpses of their foes. [1] Although pacified by Razzil’s makeshift potion, the ogre nonetheless seems tired of carrying his partner around, and longs for new shoes, [2] a back brace, [3] and less walking. [4]
Despite Razzil’s estrangement from his family, he still sometimes serve as their enforcer. [5]
Tinker believes that alchemy is an illegitimate science, and thinks Razzil is a loon for practicing it. [6]

Artifact isn’t late to the CCG party, it’s about to revolutionise card games
The announcement of Artifact at last year’s Dota 2 International was met with a mixed response. That circumspection was unwarranted. Valve’s card game, despite following a few years behind Blizzard and CD Projekt Red’s high-profile efforts, is more ambitious, expansive, and inventive than anything that has come before.
Here’s our freshly-updated look at everything we know about Artifact’s gameplay, cards, and heroes.
Developed within the Dota 2 universe, Artifact has some obvious parallels with Valve’s MOBA. Artifact is played simultaneously across three boards, representing Dota 2’s top, middle, and bottom lanes. Each board is populated with heroes and creeps, which aim to destroy the enemy towers, one of which is located at the back of each of your three boards, and acts as your health bar – if it hits zero, you have lost that lane. If two towers fall on your side of the board, it’s game over. If they so choose, however, you opponent can continue to focus their efforts on a particular lane even after the tower has fallen as, if a structure falls, it is replaced by an Ancient – which act as Dota 2’s bases. These spawn at twice the health count of a tower – 80, rather than 40 – but the game ends automatically if it is destroyed.
For the most part, each board is separate entity. Once creeps and your five heroes have been assigned to lanes, they attack automatically, hitting enemies either directly or diagonally in front of them, based on chance. If there is nothing in the way, they will hit the enemy tower, dealing damage to it based on their attack value. If they hit an obstacle, they will deal and take damage, and if their health reaches zero, they leave the board. Creeps are taken out of play, while heroes ‘respawn’ after a turn.
When an enemy unit dies, you are granted gold – five for a hero, one for a creep – that can be spent on items during the shopping phase that occurs after every full rotation through the top, middle, and bottom lanes. Items offer either bonus health, attack damage, or armor, all of which correspond to a slot on your heroes’ cards. If a hero dies, it maintains its items, and any bonus stats you have given it. Many items also have bonus effects, so while a Short Sword will give your hero two extra attack damage, a Blink Dagger will allow them to swap to a new lane, either to get out of trouble or block an incoming attack.
Heroes come in one of four different suits, from Red ‘bruiser’ heroes like Axe, who sacrifice tactical complexity for brute strength, to magelike Blue cards, such as Zeus, who lack strength in the early game but become much more powerful later on. Each suit also contains spells, which can only be played in a lane with a corresponding hero – a green card can only be played on a board with a green hero, for example.
This is where it starts getting more complicated, as while heroes and creeps may mean that lanes remain separate in their attack patterns, items and spells mean that you are soon having to balance your strategy across three different matches – no doubt the influence of Magic: the Gathering creator Richard Garfield, who joined Valve to work on the game. In this sense, Artifact gains a level of depth that puts it far ahead of its competitors; in Hearthstone, while playing a card at the right time is important, there are very few cards that rely on position to be most effective; in Gwent, timing is less crucial, but where you play a card has more importance.
In Artifact, not only are you playing across three boards at once, you are carrying spells and items from board to board. Items can be used anywhere, but spells have to be used in conjunction with certain heroes, meaning that although you might want to use a particular hero as a sponge to soak up damage, doing so could easily mean not getting to use the spell you want. A mana system is present, unique to each lane, so while your mid lane might have seven mana thanks to a passive boost, top and bottom might only have five, limiting the cards you can play there. There is also gold to consider – do you buy the cheap items for a small advantage now, or save up for next time around and potentially suffer the consequences?
The strategies this could open up are enormous, but while the mechanical depth is to be commended, I am concerned that the overall complexity could put off players unfamiliar with card games – which Artifact will likely attract given its proximity to such a different genre. A generous economy, which Valve say will reward players for a wide variety of playstyles, from theory-crafters to RNG-enthusiasts, will hopefully do something to alleviate that issue.
If Artifact is to be praised for its tactical breadth and depth, it should also be commended for its beautiful UI. There is some of the humour and light-heartedness of Hearthstone, most keenly expressed by mischevious goblins who escort you and your deck from lane to lane, combined with the rustic minimalism of Gwent. Card art, in particular, is almost uniformly outstanding, and there are some mind-bogglingly well-produced effects – the best of these stems from Zeus’ Thundergod’s Wrath, which skims above each board, blasting cards out of existence. A particularly nice touch comes from the references to Dota 2’s map – the Dire and Radiant are both expressed, but I also really enjoyed the river running down the centre of each board.
Artifact is yet to be truly put through its paces – no amount of in-house balancing and testing can replicate a community – which will undoubtedly number in the millions – digging into the game on full release. But I have a sense that Valve’s attempt at a trading card game is a real departure from the CCGs that have dominated the digital landscape in the past few years. Its complexity will prove a stumbling block for some, but I’d rather struggle with a game for its difficulty rather than its prohibitive expense. Beyond the simply material however, Artifact offers a game that is a cut above other card games I have played. It successfully captures elements from two wildly different genres, creating something that I am hugely excited to return to. If this truly does herald the start of a new era of Valve games, as Gabe Newell suggested during the game’s press event, Artifact is a monumental place to start.

With Valve just recently releasing its Dota 2 Update 7.18, a number of changes made their way into the making. This includes everything from hero/item alternations to a complete change of the game’s Meta. Blog dota 2 com heroes cast This means everything we know about the game has changed in some way or the other. so, to better educate our readers of the current Carry heroes of the Meta, we are here with a list of the 10 best Dota 2 Carry Heroes of 2018.
Dota 2 Carry Heroes
The Meta for Dota 2 has changed and we are already seeing some new faces making their mark in the current Meta. Blog dota 2 com heroes cast However, with Icefrog’s effort to balance the game, he made various changes that completely nerfed some of the most picked heroes while bringing up some that we weren’t used to in a very long time. So, without taking any more of your time, here are the 10 best Carry Heroes in the year 2018.
1. Ursa
Ursa is one of the most popular choices for the role of Carry in the current Dota 2 Meta. Blog dota 2 com heroes cast This is due to the recent love the developers have shown to the agility based hero. This combined with his extremely powerful, yet tanky abilities make him a true beast in the game.
2. Spectre
Spectre has been a hero which was a consistent pick even before patch 7.19. Though, after the update tides favored Spectre even more. Her desolate has been buffed up giving Spectre more ease in farming, as well as her updated Dispersion, has given her enhanced tankability during team fights.
3. Terrorblade
Terrorblade finally got his place back in competitive Dota 2 with the recent patches. Immediately after, we saw teams picking up the split push carry to their advantage. Terrorblade’s farming, mobility build that professional players tend to make on this hero has allowed him to fit in many situations.
4. Anti-Mage
Well, one cannot just ignore Magina from the competitive scene no matter what. Anti Mage has been a life saver for many professional teams who consider this hero their last resort in times of need. No matter the changes to the Meta, you will still see Anti Mage being picked up by professional teams every no own then.
5. Phantom Lancer
The place of both Phantom Lancer and Anti-Mage is relatively the same. Phantom lancer slightly wins during the current Meta because of his farming abilities as well as his input from early game. Though professional players tend to favor the hero more for split pushing it certainly doesn’t mean Phantom lancer isn’t good in team fights.
6. Gyrocopter
Though there were slight nerfs to the hero, Gyrocopter still remains a solid pick in the competitive scene. The AOE damage burst and lock down abilities of Gyrocopter make him a favorable pick in many matches. Plus, his incredible ability to quickly finish off lanes, and heroes make him a true contender in the fight for the best Dota 2 Carry.
7. Ember Spirit
A hero that is favored in both mid and carry role, Ember Spirit’s snowball mechanics are so good that no team wants to let go it to others. Ember Spirit is a greatly contested hero in professional matches who will either be picked or get banned in the drafting stage. Almost every team is good with Ember Spirit on their side and therefore the hero is expected to be heavily contested in the future as well.
8. Alchemist
Ever since the update, Alchemist has been revived from the dead. The new build on Alchemist is working wonders in the professional scene and the hero is getting contested more than ever. VG’s Super is trying to get his hands on the hero whenever possible. Alchemist is definitely going to be one of those heroes you will be seeing at The International 2018.
9. Shadow Fiend
Shadow Fiend is among those heroes that have great potential to come back from gold deficit really really fast. Even if Shadow Fiend does not have a good lane stage with a little bit of support and creep stacks Shadow Fiend can be up and running in no time. Being able to take both mid and carry positions the hero has become a necessity in the current Meta. Blog dota 2 com heroes cast
10. Faceless Void
Faceless Void has been one of the most consistent picks in Dota 2. However, this agility based character receiving some serious nerfs in the past, the pro scene Meta kicked him out. Well, with patch 7.19, things are looking good for Faceless as more and more players are looking to add him into their drafts. it is because of this newfound love, we thing Faceless Void is going to wreck havoc in the upcoming The International 2018 tournament.
That is it for now, but stay tuned as we going to be bringing you more guides likes this in the coming days.
