Davion’s ideal build is the first skill listed for each level. Depending on how much harassment you’re facing – or how just plain awful you are – you may require an additional level of Dragon Blood for survivability. Don’t take additional levels of it unless you simply aren’t surviving. However, don’t max Breathe Fire any later than Level 8, as it only loses its value over time. Maxing Dragon Tail can wait until after Level 16, when the increased stun duration becomes more meaningful. In general, the better you’re doing, the more often you should skill up Stats because it will bring you closer to taking over the game.
Proceed below for Item Build:
Clockwerk Skill Build
Clockwerk skillbuilds are fairly flexible. You should always consider the specificites of each game: Are you soloing against a trilane? Against another solo? Are you soloing mid, or laning with someone? What kind of Clockwerk (ganker/lane controller) would be the most efficient?
Explanation: This is the most common Clockwerk skillbuild, and you can basically use it every game without taking risks. Both Power Cogs and Rocket Flare are good at level 1, and that early level of cogs is going to help you quite a bit during ganks. This is also the best build against dual stun lanes, provided your lane partner have a ranged disable.
Explanation: This is a very popular in competitive DotA nowadays, taking advantage of the fact that Clock is one of the very few heroes in DotA able to get a fair amount of creep kills without dying against trilanes, on top of being a good Solo versus Solo hero when it comes to sidelanes. This is a fairly static way of playing Clockwerk: you should stay on your lane, taking as much creeps as you can without taking too much risks (especially against trilanes). This playstyle usually evolves into a tanky Clockwerk (VG/Pipe/Blademail) focusing on teamfights rather than on ganks.
Explanation: This is the build you want against some particular heroes mid: agressive laners without disables, like SF or Tinker. The second level of rocket gives you slighty better harass/farming potential early in the game (at level 3), and you basically bet you won’t need cogs to kill them, since they won’t stun you. This is risky but it may be highly rewarding.
Explanation: With the recent competitives trend of trilanes (Rattletrap is a decent trilaner assuming your partners know what they are doing)/with roamer like VS trying to score a first blood with your help (and the help of your lanemate, obviously), you should consider trying this build: the pseudo slow from battery assault and the decent damage (6.67 Battery buff) are quite effective. Since most trilanes right now have 2 ranges+1 melee, a level of cogs is great for your two lanepartners.
Pudge the Butcher is a hero from Dota 2. He is a Strength Dire hero.
In the Fields of Endless Carnage, far to the south of Quoidge, a corpulent figure works tirelessly through the night-dismembering, disembowelling, piling up the limbs and viscera of the fallen that the battlefield might be clear by dawn. In this cursed realm, nothing can decay or decompose; no corpse may ever return to the earth from which it sprang, no matter how deep you dig the grave. Flocked by carrion birds who need him to cut their meals into beak-sized chunks, Pudge the Butcher hones his skills with blades that grow sharper the longer he uses them. Swish, swish, thunk. Flesh falls from the bone; tendons and ligaments part like wet paper. And while he always had a taste for the butchery, over the ages, Pudge has developed a taste for its byproduct as well. Starting with a gobbet of muscle here, a sip of blood there. before long he was thrusting his jaws deep into the toughest of torsos, like a dog gnawing at rags. Even those who are beyond fearing the Reaper, fear the Butcher.

Details
Meat Hook
Launches a bloody hook toward a unit or location. The hook will snag the first unit it encounters, dragging the unit back to Pudge and dealing damage if it is an enemy. Note: Hook is also capable of attracting runes.
The Butcher’s hook is a symbolic nightmare, its curved blade a frightening reminder of his slaughterous intent.
Range: 1000/1100/1200/1300
Radius: 100 Damage: 90/180/270/360 Cooldown: 14/13/12/11 Cost: 110/120/130/140 Mana
A toxic cloud that deals intense damage and slows movement–harming not only enemy units but Pudge himself.
A foul odor precedes a toxic, choking gas, emanating from the Butcher’s putrid, ever-swelling mass.
Radius: 250
Flesh Heap
Gives Pudge resistance to magic damage, as well as bonus strength that increases each time Pudge kills an enemy Hero or it dies in his vicinity. Flesh Heap is retroactive, meaning it can gain charges before it is leveled, which then become active.
The Butcher gives new meaning to the words ‘meat shield.’
CHANNELED – Pudge chows down on an enemy unit, disabling it and dealing damage over time. Lasts 3 seconds on Heroes, 6 seconds on creeps.
Upgraded by Aghanim’s Scepter: Adds a strength-based damage bonus, and heals Pudge equal to the damage dealt by Dismember.
‘When I’m through with these vermin, they’ll be fit for a pie!’
Range: 160
Damage: 75/125/175 (+100% strength*) Cooldown: 30 Cost: 100/130/170 Mana
Strategy Edit
Pudge is one of the most difficult heroes to play well, but also one of the most rewarding. His Meat Hook skill is extremely deadly but difficult to master. A well placed Meat Hook will snag an enemy hero and drag them to Pudge, dealing damage along the way. Once the target has been hooked, Pudge can use his other two active skills to finish them off: Rot is a toggled Damage Over Time skill which affects all nearby enemies but also Pudge himself. (Pudge must be careful when using Rot, which can quickly drain his life and make him easy prey for enemies.) To stop his target from escaping or resisting, Pudge can use Dismember-a short-range skill that deals damage over time and completely immobilizes the target. When used in succession, these three skills make Pudge a dangerous opponent, although he may not look like much of a threat. To complement his risky maneuvers, Pudge enjoys a passive skill called Flesh Heap. Flesh Heap provides magic resistance, which reduces the damage he takes from Rot, and adds a minor but permanent bonus to his strength every time he kills a unit.
Less than a month ago no one even thought of Gyrocopter making a comeback into professional Dota, yet at the last ESL One Katowice the hero became the second most contested hero in the professional meta. Gyrocopter dota 2 dotabuff
The story of Gyrocopter is very similar to many heroes in the meta. Gyrocopter dota 2 dotabuff Much like Dragon Knight and Medusa, who were extremely popular in the last patch and still remain viable, Gyrocopter’s popularity comes from an early talent providing Attack Damage. With the nerfs to Medusa and the climb of Terrorblades popularity, he quickly became a very decent replacement for the position one or two core.
There are also added benefits of having a much higher early game impact, compared to Medusa. Gyrocopter dota 2 dotabuff His ultimate has a massive AoE and deals decent damage, while slowing the enemies, while both Rocket Barrage and Homing Missile are exceptionally powerful laning and early skirmishes tools.
The Professional Build
Pretty much every single successful team in the tournament played Gyro with a skillbuild that focused on Rocket Barrage early on, with Flak Cannon maxed out second. Moreover, some professional opted to completely skip early levels into Homing Missile, however this approach is highly situational and is generally at its best when your lane is uncontested and the enemy is unlikely to apply any pressure.
When it comes to item builds, the progression was almost as ubiquitous. The typical Gyrocopter progression involved Phase Boots into Drum of Endurance followed by a Yasha or S&Y and Black King Bar.
This item and skill build allows Gyrocopter to be extremely effective in the early fights, with high survivability and MS from Drums, without tampering with his farm speed. The last time the hero went off the grid it was as a result of Flak Cannon cooldown increase, but the players have adapted to maximize the efficiency of the latter to a point where the previous nerfs are somewhat mitigated. And most of this mitigation comes from the talents.
+25 Attack Damage at level 10 and +3 Flak Cannon attack at level 15 more than make up for the 6.78 changes to the skill which added 10 seconds of cooldown, completely phasing the hero out of the meta. Gyrocopter dota 2 dotabuff Combined, these two abilities provide the hero with enough power to take on almost any stack of neutral creeps, greatly accelerating his farm at the same exact moment his teamifght potential start dwindling.
The Professional Way
For the most part the hero is played extremely aggressively, with many teams using him as a position two core. His main priority is to get to level six and drums as quickly as possible and then start rotating around the map to create space for the second carry. Alternatively, he was also used to out-pressure the enemy early, gain complete map control and start starving the enemy.
His skills, item and talent progression support this heavily. Flak Cannon is not only a great farming tool, but also provides massive teamfight damage. To counteract the 50% cooldown increase, the hero was receiving some buffs to the AoE of the ability and it now finds targets as far as 1250 units away. Basically, as long as you have vision of an enemy in a teamfight, you will hit it and the damage output of the hero is no joke. And now you get +50% Flak Cannon instances as early as level 15, more than making up for the increase in cooldown.
The Side Gunner
Professional Games are usually finished earlier than pub games. Better players are better at exploiting the advantages that they might get in the early game and Gyrocopter is exceptional at getting an early game advantage. But for when playing your typical pubs, you should expect to have to keep on getting farm and get more items to be effective in drawn-out games.
The most logical and most useful progression for the hero is Butterfly and this stays true for the majority of Agility cores in most games. There are arguments to be made in favor of MKB, if you need Accuracy, or a Daedalus, if you are playing against heroes with Attack Damage reduction, but overall the Butterfly is the most cost efficient item.
Yet, it still leaves several open slots for the hero and this item might not be the end of the build. One interesting interaction that is underutilized in drawn out games is the combination of any source of lifesteal with a Side Gunner Aghanim’s upgrade.
Side Gunner is generally regarded as a joke. It provides very little DPS and is generally not worth the item slot. However it fully benefits from the effects of lifesteal and can be a worthwhile purchase when you have Satanic. By popping the Satanic active, you can almost guarantee your own survival, regardless of enemy disables, since the Side Gunner is never disabled and keeps providing you with HP.
Moreover, Satanic itself is a very natural progression for the hero after the DPS item, since at this point the enemy is very likely to have ways to initiate on you and you might need the extra tankiness to survive. The usual Eye of Skadi will be mostly wasted on Gyrocopter, since he doesn’t benefit much from the slow, as ideally you want to stay on the edge of the battle, providing DPS with the Flak Cannon and not your regular right-clicks.
There are, of course, much more specific alternatives involving either Nullifier or Bloodthorn, however neither of these items grants much protection from the enemy burst damage. When playing against heroes with high burst or multiple Dagons, having a decent HP pool is very much worth it, as is lifesteal, as otherwise you will have to pop your BKB much earlier than you want to, to prevent getting nuked down.
Closing Thoughts
With nerfs to Medusa coupled with Terrorblade rise in popularity Gyrocopter finally found his niche in the professional meta. Gyrocopter dota 2 dotabuff The hero is undeniably strong right now, but not in the same sense as Medusa was in the previous patch.
Gyrocopter doesn’t guarantee you a late game advantage, as TB or Dusa do. He doesn’t have an ability that can win you any fight, regardless of the state of the game, like Faceless Void does.
Gyrocopter is an extremely reliable and consistent pick with above average scaling, damage ouput and early game presence. He is not exceptional at either of these factors, but he is never a bad pick.
This makes him both good and bad for your everyday pubs: you can safely pick the hero early and not worry about getting counterpicked, but don’t expect him to win you the game if you aren’t actively trying to close it before the 45-minute mark, since around this point the hero starts falling off extremely hard. Be smart, coordinate well and don’t waste time, and Gyro will reward you with a lot of easy victories.
Rattletrap descends from the same far-flung kindred as Sniper and Tinker, and like many of the Keen Folk, has offset his diminutive stature through the application of gadgetry and wit. The son of the son of a clockmaker, Rattletrap was many years apprenticed to that trade before war rode down from the mountains and swept the plains villages free of such innocent vocations. “Your new trade is battle,” his dying father told him as the village of their ancestors lay in charred and smoking ruins.
It is a poor tradesman who blames his tools, and Rattletrap was never one to make excuses. After burying his father among the ruins of their village, he set about to transform himself into the greatest tool of warfare that any world had ever seen. He vowed to never again be caught unprepared, instead using his talents to assemble a suit of powered Clockwerk armor to make the knights of other lands look like tin cans by comparison. Now Rattletrap is alive with devices—a small but deadly warrior whose skills at ambush and destruction have risen to near-automated levels of efficiency. An artisan of death, his mechanizations make short work of the unwary, heralding a new dawn in this age of warfare. What time is it? It’s Clockwerk time!

i’m sorry guys, but your GUIDES for CLOCKWERK really sucks, they are TRASH play attention of that:
[BEGGINING]what’s the point of clockwerk, you need mana, first get PHASEBOOTS
skill max first power, 1 lvl CAGE, and at lvl 6 start to max the rocket, then skill hook at lvl 8(you don’t have many mana)
[MIN20] try to farm as fast you can EUL, if you have many enemies nukers get HOOD OF DEFIANCE
[min30] get aghanim as fast you can So what’s the point, you will always have mana to jump, every 10 sec, you’ll just run in them and onw all if you got support from team. Eul will help you to escape too
With Valve just recently releasing its Dota 2 Update 7.18, a number of changes made their way into the making. This includes everything from hero/item alternations to a complete change of the game’s Meta. Dota 2 top 10 combo finishing This means everything we know about the game has changed in some way or the other. so, to better educate our readers of the current Carry heroes of the Meta, we are here with a list of the 10 best Dota 2 Carry Heroes of 2018.
Dota 2 Carry Heroes
The Meta for Dota 2 has changed and we are already seeing some new faces making their mark in the current Meta. Dota 2 top 10 combo finishing However, with Icefrog’s effort to balance the game, he made various changes that completely nerfed some of the most picked heroes while bringing up some that we weren’t used to in a very long time. So, without taking any more of your time, here are the 10 best Carry Heroes in the year 2018.
1. Ursa
Ursa is one of the most popular choices for the role of Carry in the current Dota 2 Meta. Dota 2 top 10 combo finishing This is due to the recent love the developers have shown to the agility based hero. This combined with his extremely powerful, yet tanky abilities make him a true beast in the game.
2. Spectre
Spectre has been a hero which was a consistent pick even before patch 7.19. Though, after the update tides favored Spectre even more. Her desolate has been buffed up giving Spectre more ease in farming, as well as her updated Dispersion, has given her enhanced tankability during team fights.
3. Terrorblade
Terrorblade finally got his place back in competitive Dota 2 with the recent patches. Immediately after, we saw teams picking up the split push carry to their advantage. Terrorblade’s farming, mobility build that professional players tend to make on this hero has allowed him to fit in many situations.
4. Anti-Mage
Well, one cannot just ignore Magina from the competitive scene no matter what. Anti Mage has been a life saver for many professional teams who consider this hero their last resort in times of need. No matter the changes to the Meta, you will still see Anti Mage being picked up by professional teams every no own then.
5. Phantom Lancer
The place of both Phantom Lancer and Anti-Mage is relatively the same. Phantom lancer slightly wins during the current Meta because of his farming abilities as well as his input from early game. Though professional players tend to favor the hero more for split pushing it certainly doesn’t mean Phantom lancer isn’t good in team fights.
6. Gyrocopter
Though there were slight nerfs to the hero, Gyrocopter still remains a solid pick in the competitive scene. The AOE damage burst and lock down abilities of Gyrocopter make him a favorable pick in many matches. Plus, his incredible ability to quickly finish off lanes, and heroes make him a true contender in the fight for the best Dota 2 Carry.
7. Ember Spirit
A hero that is favored in both mid and carry role, Ember Spirit’s snowball mechanics are so good that no team wants to let go it to others. Ember Spirit is a greatly contested hero in professional matches who will either be picked or get banned in the drafting stage. Almost every team is good with Ember Spirit on their side and therefore the hero is expected to be heavily contested in the future as well.
8. Alchemist
Ever since the update, Alchemist has been revived from the dead. The new build on Alchemist is working wonders in the professional scene and the hero is getting contested more than ever. VG’s Super is trying to get his hands on the hero whenever possible. Alchemist is definitely going to be one of those heroes you will be seeing at The International 2018.
9. Shadow Fiend
Shadow Fiend is among those heroes that have great potential to come back from gold deficit really really fast. Even if Shadow Fiend does not have a good lane stage with a little bit of support and creep stacks Shadow Fiend can be up and running in no time. Being able to take both mid and carry positions the hero has become a necessity in the current Meta. Dota 2 top 10 combo finishing
10. Faceless Void
Faceless Void has been one of the most consistent picks in Dota 2. However, this agility based character receiving some serious nerfs in the past, the pro scene Meta kicked him out. Well, with patch 7.19, things are looking good for Faceless as more and more players are looking to add him into their drafts. it is because of this newfound love, we thing Faceless Void is going to wreck havoc in the upcoming The International 2018 tournament.
That is it for now, but stay tuned as we going to be bringing you more guides likes this in the coming days. So while you wait for that too happen, comment below and let us know what you think of the guide above. Do you agree with our Top 10 best Dota 2 Carry Heroes guide or do you think we missed out someone very guide?

Here’s every MTG Throne of Eldraine spoiler from Sept. 9
Day one of the 12 Days of Spoilers
The Throne of Eldraine‘s 12 Days of Spoilers kicked off today with a handful of top-notch cards and some filler ones, too.
Mark Rosewater tried to start the day off with a behind-the-scenes look at the design of Throne of Eldraine (ELD), along with eight spoilers. But Andrea Mengucci beat Rosewater to the punch, spoiling Mythical Dispute, as the first card of the day.
Of all the ELD spoilers dropped today, we think several are very, very interesting.
Questing Beast just might be one of the best cards within the ELD set. It comes into play with haste, vigilance, and deathtouch. Plus, Questing Beast can’t be blocked by creatures with a power of two or less. And the icing on the cake comes from combat damage done by Questing Beast being applied to a planeswalker your opponent controls.
Giant Killer
The artwork illustrated by Jesper Ejsing is likely the best thing about Giant Killer. It’s a showcase card with decent removal for white (Chop Down) but lacks power and defense. As an additional ability, Giant Killer can also tap a target creature for two mana. Dota 2 stylish wizard’s top notch
Wishclaw Talisman
Wishclaw Talisman uses counters on it to search for a players library for any card. The only downside, however, is that your opponent gains control of it once a counter is removed.
Witch’s Vengeance
Similar to Cry of the Carnarium, Witch’s Vengeance gives creatures of a specific type -3/-3 until the end of turn. Likely a good sideboard card against Nissa, it may find its way into main deck Standard play.
Joust
Boosting Knights and then having it fight an opponent’s creature is what Joust is all about. For two mana it’s a solid card, but it’s odd that it is in Red. On the upside, Joust could work well in Feather decks.
Burning-Yard Trainer
Burning-yard Trainer costs too much mana to be efficient in Standard, but in Limited, it might be worth picking up as a filler.
Brimstone Trebuchet
Sticking with the Knight theme in Red, Brimstone Trebuchet is a Wall with reach. It also deals one damage to an opponent when tapped. This could fit into a Red build where damaging an opponent has its rewards, but at three mana it won’t likely make the Standard cut.
Blow your House Down
Blow your House Down is a solid Common card for ELD Limited Draft. Being a sorcery card slows it down (pun intended) but at instant speed Blow you House Down would become instantly broken.
Embercleave
Wizards of the Coast made history today with the release of Embercleave, being that it’s been over 3,000 days since MTG had a Mythic Rare Artifact-Equipment in a set. Embercleave is a bomb in Limited and will likely see plenty of usage in Standard, too.
Jousting Dummy
Aptly named Syr Nobody by Syr Lane, Jousting Dummy is an average two-drop Artifact creature. Some might say it’s a slight upgrade from Field Creeper.
Doom Foretold
Doom Foretold may have been the most overpowered card in ELD, but it falls short of glory once players read the last sentence text. The Enchantment is essentially good for one turn and then a player must sacrifice it.
Throne of Eldraine is set to release on Oct. 4 via tabletop and Sept. 26 on MTG Arena.

Because of their longevity, time appears to pass quickly for them, and patience is one of their natural virtues. Like normal trees, Treant Protectors possess the same plant characteristics. They consume water through their roots, which double as feet. [2] Lifesap flows through their bodies, [3] which grow and bloom, [4] [5] and require sunlight for nourishment. The best known Protector is Rooftrellen, sent out by his kind to explore the world, and report any threats that could endanger their homeland. Walking Trees [ edit ]

Although the parasitic stuntwood is normally deadly to trees, the Treant Protectors seem to welcome their presence. [19]
The final game of day four of the Frankfurt Major main event was the showdown between the new European titan OG and the TI5 runner-up CDEC Gaming in the lower bracket elimination match.
Game One
OG started off their draft directly into the infamous Io Tiny combination. Although this duo has not been performing well recently, it has always been OG’s special brew. With the addition of Alchemist, Earthshaker and Undying, OG has secured themselves an explosive mid game. On the other hand, the draft of CDEC Gaming seemed shaky. Although they opted for the Broodmother pick, OG had plenty of answers for this hero. Viper also needed a strong early game in order to have a mid-game presence.
The laning phase did not go as planned for CDEC to say the least. After the initial bounty rune pick up by Alchemist, he was able to sustain himself in the lane early against the Viper. On the top lane, Broodmother suffered severely against the Tiny Io duo. The only thing that seemed to be going well for CDEC was the farm from the Queen of Pain.
As the game approached the mid-game phase, Io and Tiny remained extremely active across the map. Not only were they securing kill for themselves, they were making enormous space for Alchemist. The only good news for CDEC was that Broodmother and Queen of Pain’s farm was keeping up with Alchemist and Tiny. OG’s plan was to have Alchemist purchase the Aghanim’s Scepter for the Tiny buffing his net worth and combat potential by a huge margin. Both teams were content to farm for their key items and 26 minutes in, Tiny had become a monster with 17,000 net worth and Broodmother with 10,000 being second on the chart.
There seemed to be no openings for CDEC to contest anything OG was doing because of their lack of gank capabilities. After accumulating enough farm and the Aegis at minute 33, OG was able to march into the base of CDEC with ease. Although CDEC attempted to contest the push, the strength of the Tiny was soul crushing. OG took game one effortlessly with their signature combination.
Game Two
CDEC’s draft in game two is nothing like what they’ve drafted before with Tusk being the only familiar face in their draft. Agressif has only had one game of Doom in this patch and Alchemist is not your typical Shiki hero. On the side of OG, they were not falling behind in originality as well. Although N0tail’s Meepo has been notorious for a long time, we haven’t seen it picked in a long time.
The laning phase was stale for the playstyles of both teams. The bloodbath did not start until minute 11 when Meepo successfully initiated a team fight in the bottom lane, killing off three heroes with the help of the Fiend’s Grip. Although OG seemed to have pulled ahead in the mid game, CDEC’s lineup has a huge late game potential with Doom and Silencer, and CDEC was content with playing slightly passively and obtaining farm on the Alchemist and Doom. However, OG did not give them the chance to drag the game on. After CDEC expended their Global Silence on the kill of Ember Spirit, OG marched through the mid tier two tower team wiping CDEC and secured the tower as well, severely limiting the vision of CDEC. However, with a bold smoke gank from CDEC at minute 25, they were able to kill off Meepo before the Roshan attempt. But OG was not going to give up Roshan. Without Meepo, Ember Spirit and Slardar were able to snatch the Aegis from the hands of CDEC and team wiping them, CDEC fell behind once again.
After the Roshan encounter, CDEC was unable to pull ahead in fights, losing skirmish after skirmish. The damage coming from Meepo and Ember Spirit with the help of Slardar’s Amplified Damage was too overwhelming for CDEC. Finally at minute 42, OG stormed into the base of CDEC killing off all heroes at sight, and took game two and the series, eliminating CDEC Gaming from the tournament.
Before the Frankfurt Major, OG has always been an enigma for the Chinese teams. Although it was definitely a team on their radar, they had doubts about the strengths of the European squad. But after this series, it is now certain for the Chinese teams that OG is a huge threat for them. Congratulations to OG for advancing.
Gameplay, professional scene, prizemoney, tournament system – Their only connection is that their headquarters are located in Seattle. Although CS:GO and Dota 2 are completely different games, they are fighting towards the same goal: To be the best esport title in the world! But which is the better esport?
Dota 2 – the loved child
If you ask experts and fans of CS:GO, they’d say that Dota 2 is by far the more loved game by Valve. Meta changes, new heroes, a Pro Circuit evolving from year to year and, of course, the biggest esports event in the world: The International. Meanwhile in CS:GO, Valve just add more stickers, loot boxes, and haven’t really evolved the game mechanics in a long time.
Bugs like the silent jump bug BIG used in PGL Major Krakow 2017 have been part of the game for years – and were simply never removed.
Although Dota 2 is still waiting for the next Battle Pass, it seems like the game (thanks to IceFrog) is way more open to changes, while CS:GO seems to be stuck on the same level.
More professional players in Dota 2
It’s not just the game which seems to be faster in evolving and bringing more variation into the game – the professional scene is way bigger and has been developing faster.
In CS:GO, the European region is pretty stacked, the same as in Dota 2. North America, although just winning a CS:GO-Major with Cloud9, is by far the weaker region in both games. Asia is the biggest difference comparing both games. While in CS:GO China is almost not existing, the Dota 2 market in the Far East is stronger than in the other regions. Dota 2 seems to be more international than CS:GO.
Next to the diversity in regions Dota 2 has more talent trying to get professional. The MMR system is helping here a lot: Pros like Maroun ‘gh’ Merhej and Amer ‘Miracle-‘ Al-Barkawi found their way to Pro teams by topping the leaderboard.
FACEIT now gives young players the chance to do the same in CS:GO – Valve itself doesn’t try to help talents in that way.
New MMR system wins
In general the MMR system in Dota 2 is a system which CS:GO players are jealous of. Especially the point system from 0-10.000 and more is a thing that’s missing in CS:GO. Global Elite is the highest rank in CS:GO and beyond that is nothing.
The difference between a low level Global Elite and a high level can be way to high – more ranks are missing in CS:GO.
Too many qualifiers are better than two majors
Next up is the Pro Circuit: Pros, Casters, Analysts – everybody is complaining that there are too many qualifiers ongoing. True that, it’s almost impossible to get an overview for the qualifiers in the new Minor and Major system. But improvements will be there for the next season.
“Our goal right now is to win WESG, for us that is the best tournament at the moment.”
The best player in the world, playing for the best team in the world, said this at the @csgo_dev Major.
In CS:GO on the other hand there are two major tournaments and they don’t seem to be that important anymore – 1,000,000 USD is just not enough to make the Major be special.
Easier to understand
Although Dota 2 seeems to have a few advantages over CS:GO, there is one thing which can help CS:GO being the best esports title: The game is way easier to understand.
Everybody understands the purpose of Counter-Strike and a headshot or a flickshot is easily to recognize as a highlight scene. In Dota 2 meanwhile ten out of more than 100 heroes, each having at least four abilities makes the game way complicated than CS:GO – beginners have a better start in CS:GO.
But in end there is one thing to say: CS:GO or Dota 2 – you can like more than one esport.
Fun Fact: Just like sports. You can like more than one esport. Liking an esport does not make others worse and yours better. It is just what you like.
