STRATEGY
Early Game
You should try to lasthits every creeps. Denying is not your priority. This is a carry’s job, to farm as much. The more you farm, the faster you will get your items, the faster you get your item, the stronger you are. The stronger you are, the more capacity you will have to carry your team into victory.

On early game, you should be protected by your teammates to be able to farm in a maximum safety. You may ask a supportive hero like Vengeful Spirit or Shadow Demon to helps you. A support can protect you from death by their stun.

And also don’t forget to ask the Support to always buys the wards to be able to get vision on a certain area where enemy may comes to gank you.
Remember: Safety is the key of a successful team.

Mid Game
Keep farming. This is your job. Change lane if there is an empty lane. Or you can participate in a teamfight once in a while if the sitiation is good for you. You have Sharpnel and Assassinate to helps you getting enemy kills.

Or if your team decided to push, you can easily right click the tower, the advantage of being Sniper is that towers can’t hit you because you attack range is long.


 Late Game
This is the stage you will contribute the most because in this stage you should already acquired high damages to carry the enemy.

Wait until your initiator started a teamfight. Just right click the enemy one by one. Believe me that your damage is very high so you just right click the enemy to kill them all.

You can use Assassinate once in a while, like when there is an enemy escape from you. Assassinate damage is high, so you can kill squishy heroes like Crystal maiden or KoTL easily

Usually in this stage of the game you already have some good items like Manta Style or Daedlus. I believe that you always can outdamage the enemy, so keep calm and right click. Recommended to kill squishy heroes first and then later you can kill the tanky heroes.

2011-2012 [ edit ]

kYxY began his professional career by joining MUFC in 2011. The team won WCG 2011 Asian Championship over Mineski in December. However, he later left the team in 2012. kYxY joined the Orange eSports youth squad in 2012. Eventually in 2013, he became a main player for the team along with Ohaiyo.

2013 [ edit ]

kYxY and his team, Orange, were one of the invited teams for The International 2013. The team managed to qualify for the upper bracket of the tournament, finishing 8-6 in Group B. After losing to Natus Vincere 1-2 in the upper bracket, kYxY and Orange made an amazing run through the lower bracket. During some games such as Game 2 of the Lower Bracket series between Orange and Team DK, kYxY became very notable for his Magnus performances as he prevented a Team DK comeback with first a 4-man Reverse Polarity and then another 5-man Reverse Polarity.
Orange finished TI3 claiming the third place in the event after losing in a dramatic 1-2 rematch series against Natus Vincere. After The International 2013 and Mushi’s departure of Orange, it was announced on the 21st of September that the remaining players were leaving Orange and the four active players moved to Titan. 2014 [ edit ]

kYxY’s new team, Titan were considered the best team in Southeast Asia by many as the team won many Southeast Asian tournaments but never placed high in any international or premium-level tournaments. They received the sole invite slot for Southeast Asia for The International 2014 and placed 8th in the group stages with an 8-7 record, qualifying them for Phase Three of the tournament. Their first game was against Newbee but lost 1-2, knocking them out of The International 2014 and being unable to qualify for the main event. After TI4, it was unknown what would be the fate of kYxY and his team.

With Team DK disbanding after the retirement of key players, Mushi reunited the former Orange of TI3 under the name of Team Malaysia as kYxY joined him. [3] Despite the team’s long win streak in Southeast Asian Dota tournaments, Mushi and XtiNcT left the team. kYxY remained on the team, but they did not have the same quality of performances in SEA Dota tournaments and 2 months after formation the team disbanded.

In the beginning of 2015, kYxY was left without a team. He joined G-Guard Esports in early January but later left to join former teammates Mushi and Ohaiyo at a new EHOME. my. The team were dropped from the EHOME organization less than a month after the team’s formation but remained playing under the name Team Malaysia. Dota 2 kyxy radio During this time, Team Malaysia became arguably the best team in Southeast Asia, with a 16-game winning streak and qualifying for many premium-level tournaments as well as earning SEA’s sole direct invite to The International 2015. Team Malaysia were picked up by Fnatic around early June of 2015. [4]

kYxY and Fnatic were coming into The International 2015 as underdogs in comparison to other teams. Despite being underdogs, they managed to take a game decisively off of Team Secret, who were arguably the best team in the world at the time after winning many major LAN tournaments before TI5. Despite the great start in the group stages, Fnatic did not qualify for the upper bracket of TI5 and instead had to play against Virtus. Pro in the lower bracket who were coming off of an upper-lower bracket deciding playoff series. They were eliminated from TI5 in their Best of 1 game against Virtus. Scanning [ edit ]

  • Right clicking anywhere on the minimap will command the hero to move to that location. However, there is a delay of 0.2 seconds, where clicks will not be registered. This is to prevent missclicks.
  • Ground-target abilities, such as Wrath of Nature , can be cast by clicking on the minimap.
  • Clicking on the minimap while using Town Portal Scroll or Boots of Travel will teleport the hero to the specified location’s nearest allied building.

Pinging [ edit ]

  • Alt + Left Clicking on the minimap will alert your team about a location by Link▶️ playing a sound and showing an exclamation mark on their minimap.
    • Clicking buildings will play a different sound depending on the building’s alliance, and generally mean a Link▶️ defense / Link▶️ attack of the building is desired.
    • Clicking enemy heroes will play the same sound as on enemy buildings, typically to announce the desire to attack.
  • Ctrl + Alt + Left Clicking on the minimap will alert your team by Link▶️ playing a different sound and showing an X on their minimap, generally indicating danger.

Drawing [ edit ]

Scanning [ edit ]

Players can use the Scan ability on the right of the minimap UI to detect any enemy heroes in an area. Dota 2 change map icons

Controls [ edit ]

  • Right clicking anywhere on the minimap will command the hero to move to that location. However, there is a delay of 0.2 seconds, where clicks will not be registered. This is to prevent missclicks.
  • Ground-target abilities, such as Wrath of Nature , can be cast by clicking on the minimap.
  • Clicking on the minimap while using Town Portal Scroll or Boots of Travel will teleport the hero to the specified location’s nearest allied building.

Pinging [ edit ]

  • Alt + Left Clicking on the minimap will alert your team about a location by Link▶️ playing a sound and showing an exclamation mark on their minimap.
    • Clicking buildings will play a different sound depending on the building’s alliance, and generally mean a Link▶️ defense / Link▶️ attack of the building is desired.
    • Clicking enemy heroes will play the same sound as on enemy buildings, typically to announce the desire to attack.
  • Ctrl + Alt + Left Clicking on the minimap will alert your team by Link▶️ playing a different sound and showing an X on their minimap, generally indicating danger.

Drawing [ edit ]

Holding down both Ctrl and the left mouse button while moving your cursor over the minimap will draw lines on the minimap. These lines can be seen by all allied players, and their color corresponds to the color of the player. Lines will fade after a few seconds.

Console Commands [ edit ]

There are several console commands that can be used to modify the minimap in various ways to match an individual player’s preferences. Some of the commonly used ones are shown below.

DoTA 2 Skins and Cosmetic Items Explained

What are Dota2 skins and how do they improve your gaming experience? Where can you find great Dota2 skins? How much do they cost?

As a regular Dota 2 player, you’re probably up to date with what skins are, what they are used for, and what they can do during the game. But if you are just getting started with Dota 2, or you simply want to find out more about Dota 2 skins, then this article is definitely for you.

Items versus Skins

Just like Counter Strike, Team Fortress, or Warframe, you can also purchase items and skins for Dota 2.

There are 2 types of items: cosmetic items and power boosting items. Skins are part of the first category, as they have a purely visually enhancing role; skins do not affect the abilities and powers of Heroes.

Did you know? Contributions to Dota 2’s development consistently come from sources outside the main development team.

What are power boosting items? They give Heroes enhanced abilities and functions so they can perform better during a battle. Power/Ability enhancing items are not tied to a particular Hero, therefore you must pay increased attention when choosing your items. Some items won’t work on some Heroes, while other items can be combined for improved results. In short, these items provide additional benefits to Heroes that the leveling up process cannot.

Tip: A Hero can have a maximum of 6 items in his Inventory, and a maximum of 6 items in his Stash. If you get more items, they will be automatically dropped in the fountain.

Dota 2 Skins You Can’t Miss

There are a lot of skins to choose from in Dota 2. This is part of the game’s charm, and a lot of players go above and beyond to personalize their Dota 2 experience. Skins don’t interfere with the mechanics of the game, they are purely decorative.

Did you know? You can buy user-created skins in the Steam Workshop. They are only put out for sale if they have been approved by Valve.

1. Equipment Skins

This skins type is used to change the way a Hero looks, from their clothes to the way their weapons are designed. While these skins do not alter the Heroes’ powers, they can definitely give your hero a fiercer look.

2. Couriers

As the name suggests, the Couriers are items that take the form of a donkey / flying donkey. Their main responsibility is to carry your items to and from your base. Animal Couriers and Flying Couriers are considered Consumable Items.

You can also customize your courier in the loadout screen. You can equip the Couriers with specific visual elements. Once again, these elements do not influence the way the Courier performs. However, there are some Unusual Couriers which come with a special effect. The effect can be either Ethereal Gem or Prismatic Gem.

Custom Couriers are classified in 5 categories: Rare, Mythical, Legendary, Immortal, Ancient.

3. Announcers

This collection of cosmetic items is a bit different, because it does not change the way a Hero or a player looks. What it does is it changes the voice of the Announcer with explosive commentaries, unruly humor, or a drunken Pirate Captain. There are a lot of Announcers items to choose from – can you decide which voice is your favourite?

4. Custom Wards

Are you getting bored with the way your wards look? With Custom Wards you can change the appearance of your Observer Wards and Sentry Wards.

Did you know? Items such as skins are the main source of income for Dota2. Creators selling their items on the Steam Market receive a percentage of sales. In 2013 the income for an average contributor was $15k per year.

5. HUD Skins

This skins category is a bit special, as it allows you to change how the heads up display looks. What’s even better about this skins category is that it can be equipped by other players in the same match.

Overview

This build will focus on being your team leader, initiator, and carry. Spirit Breaker is a carry with great utility, speed, and map presence. Great for ganking, initiating, and team fighting.

At game start he is a quite hearty character who can withstand taking some harassment while laning and getting his last hits. Once he starts leveling his passive he becomes quick as well. Because of this he can move into and out of fights well, keeping the opposition guessing. Shadow blade is amazing because you can take a gamble on initiating ganks you normally wouldn’t and if it goes sour you have a great escape and quickness to get away.

As an initiator he will be the first into fights a lot, and will often get focused, because of this I do not reccommend MoM (a primarily ganking item, which will get you killed), and pick up shadow blade for the escape. Shadow Blade can also be used for charging against a character with a stun. If they don’t see it coming you can get your stun off first, and follow up with your ult.

His stuns are nice and his hits are hard. Bash works best the higher his attack speed becomes. Attack speed is paramount and every item he gets should include it.

Early Game / Laning

Get Belt of Strength and some Tangos to start and head to safe lane. Belt of Strength will build into Power Treads. You get Bash first so that when you go for initial rune you are dangerous to an enemy going for same rune. You get a bash off (RNG) you will do more damage than them. I often grab an urn early as well because once you start ganking and team fighting you will be taking damage and urn will heal you up and keep you going.

While laning go for last hits. He can take harassment well, and can get last hits pretty easily. Do not initiate until level 6, unless the other team is playing sloppy and you get some hits/bashes on them and get them to half health, follow up with a charge stun, hopefully you and your teammate can clean it up. I feel Bara is kind of weak when fighting other heroes until he gets all his abilities. He becomes king of mid-game, and with the right items, late game as well.

If you initiate early game, your success is based on whether or not you get a bash proc. If you get a couple good bashes you probably get a kill. If you dont get any bashes, pull back and be safe. Let that kill go.

Mid Game / 5 man Dota

Once towers start falling, hopefully you have Power Treads and Armlet, that’s when you start inflicting some real pain. Charge at enemies who have lost health. You can really stomp on squishies with a charge and ult. Use Charge to assist teammates who have been initiated on. Use Charge to initiate fights against enemy heroes. Use charge to travel around the map to farm creeps.

When charging at a 5 man fight, charge at the guy furthest you so you stun them all. Then ult the squishiest one or the one you need to focus first. Switch it up! You don’t always have to charge first. If you are close enough use your ult first, then swing swing swing and hope for some bashes. Take too much damage, then charge away to a creep across the map. Or charge that enemy for a stun they might not have expected. Charge is better to initiate with but before you get shadow blade its decent as an escape as well.

Once you get your attack speed up the bashes will come often, and if you get a couple good bashes early, its gg for that enemy hero. Bash is what makes you a devastating carry, max it first.

Shadow blade is perfect for Bara. Dota 2 first pub game monkey Stats are perfect, attack speed is paramount, remember. Plus for an initiator, the escape will allow you to keep your gold and not feed. You will start fights, and they won’t always go well. You will gank someone you think is alone and 3 teammates come out of the woodwork. It’s also good paired with charge, you can initiate ganks against heroes with stuns or slows who could stop your charge early and really screw you up. Drow paying attention and hitting you with a slow before you can stun? Just charge invisible, and you get a stronger first hit as well. Probably better than BKB since the stats fit Bara better. BKB is really good also if you are playing a good team with lots of stuns. But more often than not you only need shadow blade.

Late Game

Late game you want a Monkey King Bar. Guess what, more attack speed and lots of damage. Once you have Treads, Shadow Blade, Armlet of Mordiggan, and Monkey King Bar, you are entering hard carry territory. You are doing a lot of damage with a lot of bashes.

Icing on the cake is an Assault Curi*** for guess what, more attack speed. All that attack speed makes Bara a monster.
