Dota 2 Lagging in Lobby massive fps drop

im newbie so i dont know where to post this issues of mine. please let me know if i do a mistake

so if been playing dota 2 like 1 year now, but now im having this issue.
-when i launch dota 2 everything normal, the lag starts when i go to lobby(or dashboard i dunno its a place you wait for match making)
-fps drop and all my computer system also got the lag. i used to alt+tab when playing, but when i alt+tab dota 2 the lag effecting my pc(i open firefox it also lagging)
-when i got in the game hero selection also lag, item selection also
-when i click play and got into the map the lag suddenly stop and i can go with high setting
-when i play in the map and go back to lobby the lag is stop, but when the game ends the lag come back again
-but some times i still having lag even in the game and i it unplayable
-i do a research something called dota_embers 0 and it not working
-reinstall dota 2 also not working
-i dont know if its because i got a new graphic card but all the drivers are up to date and i already reinstalled it twice
-the problem start either on dire tide patch, or because i change my graphic card on that time

here is my pc specification:
Processor Intel Core 2 Duo 2.9 Ghz
RAM 4GB
Graphic Card NVIDIA GeForce 650ti 1GB
Windows 7 Ultimate 32 bit
All drivers are up to date

so anyone that could help me please help!! i really love playing dota 2 i enjoyed it so much but with this i just cant play

Are you sure you did it right?

Shouldn’t this be on the Performance & Technical Support section?

Anyway, I had never heard of your problem before. Since you’re able to play the game, it’s like almost impossible to lag in the lobby.

Try disabling Steam Community In-game. (Steam > view > settings > In-game > uncheck enable Steam Community In-game.)

when you join a lobby or chat with a lot of spammers e. g trade channel, the texts start to build up and after 1-2 hours the computer starts lagging and overheating. That could be the reason cuz it’s happened to me before, try leaving all the chat channels and see if lag persists

For the dota embers I dunno if I do it wrong or right, I type in set launch dota_embers 0, I type in console dota_embers 0, someone said type in autoexec. cfg but I can’t find the cfg. Nothing work so far. I’m not entering anychat room or chat lobby, because I have a team, I automatically entiring chat team but no one online. The lag start when the 1st loading finish(dota 2 logo and loading on the right bottom corner) still can’t find the solutio

Please help anyone I don’t know what’s happening
