Dendi

Danil “Dendi” Ishutin (born December 30, 1989) is a Ukrainian professional Dota 2 and former DotA player. Well known for his solo mid skills, he is regarded as one of the most creative players in the scene today, and is renowned for his unorthodox play style and unconventional skill and item builds. After having played for Natus Vincere for the entirety of his professional Dota 2 career, he finally departed the active roster for the first time in September 2018. He currently plays for The Pango.

Biography [ edit ]

Born in Lviv, Ukraine, Dendi got an early start with competitive gaming in net cafes when his elder brother married, moved out and took the family’s PC with him. Dabbling with Counter-Strike first, he soon found Warcraft 3 where he played in local tournaments and built a love for the competition and a thirst to be the best. Though he was quite successful in Warcraft 3 and even won a few local championships in Lviv, he knew he had found his calling when he stumbled upon DotA. He picked up the game quickly and played it almost exclusively over the next few months.

Beginning with learning only supports, he practiced heavily and was quickly vouched to the IHCS1 league and soon created his own team for tournaments in Lviv. After he led his team to a championship in Kiev, he was drafted by a team called “Wolker. Gaming” and began his professional career at 17.

DotA [ edit ]

Dendi started playing professionally with WG in 2006. [1] He was a part of the Ukrainian squad that finished third in MYM Prime Nations the same year. Only a few months later WG made it to the grand final of one of the most prestigious tournaments at the time; MYM Prime Defending. [2] When Kingsurf. international merged with WG the next year he became a full-time member of Ks. int. [1] In late 2008 he joined DTS, only to return to Ks. int in March 2009. [3] Three months later though, Dendi returned to DTS. [4] The team would end up finishing 2nd at ESWC 2010. At the end of 2010, Dendi and DTS finished 3rd at the prestigious WDC 2010. [5] Dendi joined Natus Vincere at the end of 2010. [6]

Dota 2 [ edit ]

Dendi started his Dota 2 career with Na’Vi, who quickly established themselves as one of the best teams in the world by winning The International 2011. Na’Vi continued to dominate and won many tournaments in the years 2011, 2012 and 2013. Dendi was the center of Na’Vi’s consistent stable and skilled rosters, with his performance greatly contributing to their success.

The Natus Vincere Dota 2 team achieved significant success with Dendi as their midlaner during the first few years of the game; they finished as the runners-up for both The International 2012 and The International 2013, losing out to Invictus Gaming and Alliance, respectively. 2013 would mark the last year of Na’Vi and Dendi’s dominance in the Dota 2 scene, as they only recorded two LAN victories since January 2014. The International 2014 saw Na’Vi and Dendi finishing the tournament outside of the top 2 for the first time and the following two Internationals, TI 5 and TI 6, they would finish in last place. The results would deteriorate further, as they would fail to even qualify for The International 2017, they failed to advance out of the group stage of the regional qualifiers. This marked the first year of The International tournaments without Dendi attending as a player. The 2017/18 season started of promising for Dendi and Na’Vi, who dominated the CIS scene in the early months, crowning their improving results with their second LAN victory since 2014. However, the second half of the season saw the roster break apart and finally the team would fail to even reach the regional qualifiers for The International 2018, after losing in the open qualifier.

Four years of roster instability and poor results finally took their toll on the reputation of the Na’Vi organization and on Dendi’s status as a legendary player and a top tier midlaner. After 8 years playing mid on Na’Vi, Dendi was finally removed from the active roster in September 2018. However, Dendi vowed to continue playing professionally. After a brief stint on Tigers, Dendi joined The Pango.

Ostarion, the Skeleton King, is a powerful melee strength hero, capable of taking plenty of damage before dying. His ultimate allows him to rise again, acting like an Aegis of the Immortal, making him especially difficult to kill. He also has a nuke that deals reliable damage and stuns, and he is able to stay in his lane longer because of his passive lifesteal aura. Skeleton king dota #2 rip rap He can become a hard carry in later stages of the game depending on his farm.

Abilities

  • Hellfire Blast travels at a speed of 1000.
  • Deals the base damage instantly upon hitting, and the damage over time in 1 second intervals, starting immediately after the stun.
  • Can deal up to 80/160/230/300 damage (before reductions).
  • The lifesteal is not a Unique Attack Modifier, so it stacks additively with all other sources of lifesteal.
  • Cannot lifesteal off of siege creeps, wards, buildings and allied units.
  • The aura’s buff lingers for 0.5 seconds.
  • Does not affect invulnerable allies.
  • Unlike other critical strikes, this one also works against wards.
  • Mortal Strike uses pseudo-random distribution.
  • The sound and particles play upon start of the attack, not when the attack lands.
  • Increases attack damage by an average of 7.5%/15%/22.5%/30%.
  • Skeleton King does not revive if he does not have enough mana. Skeleton king dota #2 rip rap
  • If Skeleton King has an Aegis of the Immortal , Reincarnation triggers first, considering it is off cooldown and Skeleton King has sufficient mana. Skeleton king dota #2 rip rap
  • Reincarnation cannot be prevented in any way as long as Skeleton King has enough mana and the ability is off cooldown.
  • Revives with full health and mana. Skeleton king dota #2 rip rap Spells and items are not refreshed.
  • Slow is applied at the beginning of the revival, not the end.

Recommended items

  • Healing Salve or a tangoes prov >Clarity gives Ostarion more opportunities to set up kills early on with Hellfire Blast .
  • Two Iron Branches give Skeleton King enough mana pool to cast Hellfire Blast two times at level 1.
  • Quelling Blade is an excellent starting item for Ostarion as it allows him to get last hits easier. It also makes Mortal Strike hit harder against creeps and increases the effectiveness of Vampiric Aura when attacking creeps.
  • Magic Stick can sometimes be the difference between a death and a kill. Its active usually grants enough mana to sustain Reincarnation .
  • Boots of Speed prov >Helm of Iron Will can be built into an Armlet of Mordiggian later on and gives extra survivability in the form of armor and health regeneration.
  • Magic Wand prov >Power Treads increases Ostarion’s damage per second; attribute switching can also make his limited mana pool go much further if the treads are switched to intelligence.
  • Armlet of Mordiggian is Ostarion’s main DPS item. It is also easy to negate the health drain with the help of Vampiric Aura .
  • Desolator makes Ostarion’s physical attacks to hit harder, especially against targets with already low armor. Vampiric Aura also benefits greatly from it, as it heals based on dealt damage after armor reduction.
  • Black King Bar negates Ostarion’s main weakness: being chain-stunned and then burst down after Reincarnation . Furthermore, as long as he is not disabled, he can keep hitting enemies, healing himself up with his aura. Skeleton king dota #2 rip rap
  • Assault Cuirass increases Ostarion’s damage output by increasing his attack speed and further reducing enemy armor. The aura from this item also increases his team’s armor and attack speed. Since Skeleton King usually survives longer, the item’s aura prov >Abyssal Blade not only gives Ostarion some health and a decent attack damage boost, it also gives his attacks a chance to bash and, on top of Hellfire Blast , another active stun which also pierces spell immunity, which is very handy as he is easy to run away from if his own stun is on cooldown.
  • Heart of Tarrasque gives Ostarion a great health, health regeneration and attack damage boost, making him even harder to kill and harder to ignore.
  • Heaven’s Halberd gives Ostarion some evasion against enemies which rely on their physical attacks, and lets him cut off an enemy carry from their primary source of damage for a while.
  • Monkey King Bar increases Ostarion’s attack damage, counters enemies with evasion abilities or items such as Butterfly or Heaven’s Halberd, and prov >Hellfire Blast is not an option.
  • Divine Rapier is an excellent item for Ostarion to get due to it not dropping if Reincarnation activates upon death, thus making it less likely for him to lose it. When carrying the Aegis of the Immortal , Ostarion has to die 3 times to lose the Rapier. The great damage boost also increases his endurance by improving his lifesteal aura’s returns.

Oracle’s Lore

Ascendants to the Great Seat of Cymurri had for ages imported their Oracles exclusively from the Ivory Incubarium, high in the hollow peaks of the Zealot’s Range, with a downpayment made at the time of the embryo’s conception and the balance surrendered on delivery of a mature, well-trained prophet to the Gate of the Graven King.
Raised by same Pallid Sybils who bred and birthed them, all sanctioned Oracles were anchored by their physical form to the world we most of us share; meanwhile, their souls roamed far afield, barely bound by the airiest astral umbilicus. From such cosmic roamings the prophets would return, speaking words of fire with tongues of flesh. Their mystic utterances were analyzed by the Cymurri Advisors, who found in them visions of the future, diplomatic advice, all the supernatural ammunition the line of Graven Kings needed to secure victory in every campaign, whether in the court or on the battlefield. Thus it went for generations, the Graventome’s pages filling with the names of triumphant kings and the new domains they had acquired. So it went, that is, until the particular Oracle named Nerif arrived to serve the very last of the stone-helmed kings.

From the first, Nerif’s prophecies were unusual. They seemed not merely to portend the future, but to shape it. The weird soothsayer croaked out advice no one had requested, and suddenly the Cymurri found themselves immersed in conflicts with newfound enemies. The Advisors, sensing a threat to their power, were quick to pin these unwelcome developments on the latest Oracle. They demanded his removal, petitioning the Sybils to reclaim their defective prophet and replace him with a worthy substitute. But Nerif described an ominous dream of the Incubarium’s destruction, and within hours came news of the ancient school’s destruction in a catastrophic avalanche. Fearing the same fate as the Pallid Sybils, the Advisors withdrew to their counsel chambers, suddenly anxious to avoid the Oracle’s notice. The Graven King, however, was a creature of great practicality. He doubted the commitment of his overprudent Advisors. An Oracle of such rarity, he reasoned, ought be used as a weapon to enlarge his domain. He therefore demoted his timid counselors and stationed Nerif at his side. With only a blunt understanding of Nerif’s talent, he boldly stated the outcomes he desired, and coaxed Nerif into uttering his wishes as prophecy.

At first, all was well. The Last Graven King boasted that by adopting Fate’s pet, he had made a plaything of Fate itself. He should have taken it as a warning then when, on the eve of his invasion of the Unsated Satrap’s realm, he attempted to coerce a prediction of certain victory from his Oracle, only to hear Nerif quietly mutter, “It could go either way.” No firmer statement could he force from Nerif’s lips. Still, the King was confident in his army. The Satrapy was landlocked, poorly armed, and shut off from all possible allies. He took “It could go either way” to indicate that with tactical might on his side, there was little risk in his plan.

Of course, we now know that he should have taken the sayer’s words more literally. Even with careful study of the Annotated Annals of If, what happened on the field before the Unsated Satrap’s palace is almost impossible to visualize. It appears that in the midst of the carnage, the battle began to bifurcate. At each pivotal moment, reality calved and broke into bits. Soldiers who staggered and fell in battle also stood sure-footed, forging onward to fight. Their minds also split; the warriors found themselves both dead and alive, existent and non-existent. Victory and defeat were partitioned, so that each separate outcome was experienced in simultaneity by both armies. The universe became a hall of mirrors, with all the mirrors endlessly shattering.

The immediate effect on both parties was insanity. Unable to comprehend the state of being both triumphant and defeated, the Graven King’s mind dispersed into motes of madness. The naive Satrap fared no better. The opposing paired realities continued to split and split again, echoing into infinite histories, all of them populated by a bewildered populace that soon lost the ability to feed, clothe, defend, or reproduce itself in the traditional manner.

Long before the repercussions had played out, however, Cymurri’s wary Advisors had seized Nerif, bound and gagged him, and launched him out of their universe at high speed on a dimensional barque, in the hopes of depositing him where he could do them no harm forever. It was, of course, too late for them. And may well be for us.

Dota 2 is a 2013 multiplayer online battle arena video game and the stand-alone sequel to the Defense of the Ancients (DotA) Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos and Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne mod. Developed by Valve Corporation, Dota 2 was released as a free-to-play title for Microsoft Windows, OS X and Linux in July 2013, concluding a Windows-only public beta testing phase that began in 2011. The game is available exclusively through Valve’s content-delivery platform, Steam.

Team Malaysia was a team formed in October 2014, in time to participate in the World Cyber Arena 2014. The team consists of the same lineup that represented Orange Esports during The International 2013, picking up Mushi soon after he left Team DK along with XtiNcT, Net, Ohaiyo and kYxY from Titan. By the end of 2014, the players had gone their separate ways.

Following the release of EHOME Malaysia by the Chinese organization, the team continued to play together under the name of Team Malaysia. Looking for dota 2 team malaysia cycling

Captain’s Mode 101

Not so long ago we discussed how playing Random Draft might be a better Dota experience, but there is one more mode to play in ranked matchmaking. One that gives the most control over how the game will develop and what strategy each team will adhere. Excitement in Captains Mode starts from the very beginning, and here are some general tips on improving your drafts and creating playable team compositions.

Draft Disables

There is a reason this rule is at the top of the list. It is possible to make a functional draft without a single stun, but it will still put your team at a major disadvantage. Draft your disables and draft them early, otherwise you will be cornered in a situation, where you will need very specific hero for a specific role and having limited options is never good.

Catch vs Initiation Heroes

Centaur Warrunner is an initiator. So is Magnus, but these heroes are very different. When drafting your disables, keep in mind cooldowns and how abilities play out. Lately, in the pro-scene, teams started drafting one low-cooldown, low-value “catch”-initiator and one big teamfight turning hero like Warlock. This allows teams to successfully gank, without the repercussions of long cooldowns. But when there is a massive teamfight, they are prepared.

“Cheese” heroes

Counter-picking is bread and butter of Captains Mode, but there are several heroes in the game, which require an answer before they are even drafted or thought of. Keeping these heroes in mind is always a good idea—their pick can completely change the landscape of the game and the draft.

Luckily, these heroes are generally hard to play and not every team will have a good dedicated player for Meepo, Broodmother, Visage etc. Regardless, keeping these “cheese” heroes in mind is always a good idea and having at least some form of outpush, some form of AoE control and some answers to split-push is a necessity.

Ask teammates to check enemy profiles

There is nothing wrong with getting to know your enemy before the game begins. A lot of players are exceptionally good on some heroes and play them a lot. Allowing them to pick such hero is a huge mistake. You might be playing in a 3k average game, but it doesn’t mean that one of the enemies can’t play Visage like a 5k. Checking the “cheese” heroes is a priority, but even more regular confident picks for the enemy can be devastating for your team.

Opening Picks

Keep your opening picks flexible. They do not necessarily need to be trick heroes, but they shouldn’t force you into a particular strategy archetype either. The current meta revolves around early position 3 or 4 picks, generally with a good “catch” hero or a strong counter-initiator. These heroes fit virtually any lineup and every team needs disables.

Do not over-respond to the enemy’s draft

This mistake is a lot harder to unlearn since most players are programmed to respond to specific enemy picks with specific picks of their own. Yes, counter-picking is great, but dedicating more than two heroes specifically for shutting down one of the enemy heroes will leave you with a mess of a team. Countering the enemy strategy is good. Having your own strategy and game plan is better.

Know your teammates

This is applicable at all levels of play. A player having very high MMR doesn’t mean he can play every single hero in the game. Morphling can be the absolute best pick for the situation, but if you don’t have a player to execute the hero properly, going for a more comfortable option is almost always better. Push your team to their limits, but not over it.

Keep early game in mind

The pace of the game is very different from the one we had in the 6.8x era, where the comeback gold mechanic made comebacks so much easier. The current metagame doesn’t allow for complete throws of the early game. You don’t need to dominate all three lanes to win the game and it is possible to get back into the action after a series of successful high ground defences, but why put yourself in such position in the first place? Laning is important, heroes don’t automatically start the game with level 6 and having ways to deal with early skirmishes is advised.

Know your timings and play according to them

This is less of a draft problem and more of an execution one, but it still worth mentioning. Different team compositions will peak at different timings. Some teams will only get stronger as the game progresses, while others will be an absolute powerhouse in the 20-30 minute window, but will quickly fizzle away afterwards. Play what you drafted. Gank if you need to gank, push if you need to push or turtle up if you need to. Don’t get sucked into the automatic pattern of Dota, but rather think of what your specific lineup needs to do at this specific moment.

Creep-heroes

A creep-hero is a creep-type unit which is considered a hero by the game. This means, although it still is a creep, many spells and other effects treat it as a hero instead.

All creep-heroes, with the exception of the Spirit Bear , are tagged as ancient creeps as well.

Contents

Spell interactions [ edit ]

There are many spells which behave differently based on what their target is. Several spells are exclusive to heroes only, while some are exclusive to non-hero units. There are also spells which are able to affect both, but have different effects or durations based on whether the target is a hero or a non-hero.

Creep-heroes, being in between creeps and heroes, have therefore many unique interactions with these spells.

If a creep-hero also has the ancient unit tag (is an ancient creep-hero), interactions change even further. All interactions listed in here apply to them, on top of the ones listed below.

Hero-only spells [ edit ]

The following spells are able to target or affect heroes only. However, some of them treat creep-heroes as heroes, fully working on them as well, while others treat them as creeps, not affecting them.

Fully affecting [ edit ]

The following hero-only spells fully affect creep-heroes.

* Since only heroes have intelligence, casting Mana Burn on creep-heroes does nothing but waste mana and cooldown.

Not affecting [ edit ]

The following hero-only spells do not affect creep-heroes.

  • Alchemist – Aghanim’s Scepter Synth
  • Bloodseeker – Thirst
  • Chaos Knight – Phantasm
  • Crimson Guard – Guard
  • Dark Seer – Wall of Replica
  • Disruptor – Glimpse
  • Drow Ranger – Marksmanship
  • Forged Spirit – Melting Strike
  • Legion Commander – Duel
  • Lua error: Found no Cargo data for “Lifestealer – Control”.
  • Lua error: Found no Cargo data for “Lifestealer – Assimilate”.
  • Luna – Lunar Blessing
  • Mirana – Moonlight Shadow
  • Morphling – Morph
  • Monkey King – Jingu Mastery
  • Outworld Devourer – Sanity’s Eclipse
  • Pudge – Flesh Heap
  • Riki – Tricks of the Trade
  • Rubick – Spell Steal
  • Shadow Demon – Disruption
  • Silencer – Intelligence Steal
  • Slark – Pounce
  • Slark – Essence Shift
  • Spectre – Haunt
  • Terrorblade – Reflection
  • Terrorblade – Sunder
  • Tinker – Heat-Seeking Missile
  • Troll Warlord – Battle Trance
  • Urn of Shadows – Soul Release
  • Weaver – Time Lapse
  • Witch Doctor – Death Ward
  • Zeus – Thundergod’s Wrath

Partially affecting [ edit ]

The following hero-only spells partially affect creep-heroes.

Creep-only spells [ edit ]

The following spells are able to target or affect creeps only. None of them treat creep-heroes as creeps, rendering them useless against creep-heroes.

1 The ancient unit tag has priority over the creep-hero tag, so that these abilities do affect creep-heroes if they also are ancient creeps.

2 The creep-hero tag has priority over the ancient unit tag in this case, meaning even upgraded, these spells still cannot target creep-heroes which are also ancient creeps.

Other spells [ edit ]

These spells act differently when applied on heroes as when on creeps. Their behavior against creep-heroes is inconsistent.

Treated as hero [ edit ]

These spells treat creep-heroes as heroes.

1 These spells prioritize the ancient unit tag over the creep-hero unit tag, meaning they treat units with both tags as creeps, not as heroes. All other listed spells always treat them as heroes, regardless of any other tag.

2 Enchant ‘s targeting rules prioritize the ancient unit tag over the creep-hero unit tag, meaning it cannot target units with both tags when the talent for it is not chosen. However, its effects prioritize the creep-hero unit tag, meaning if the talent is chosen, targeted units with both tags are slowed, not converted.

Roshan by Kitty Plays

Kitty Plays attracted a lot of attention at TI6 with her extremely detailed Roshan costume. She even walked around with a gigantic slice of cheese! Fantastic craftsmanship landed her 3rd place in the costume contest.

Fem Invoker by jumpmanclassic

Taking a design crafted by a friend, jumpmanclassic gender-bent the Invoker in this amazingly creative cosplay. Glowing jewels on her arm cuffs and boots help bring to life the magical feeling in her cosplay, as well as the details packed in.

Legion Commander by Lilisliph

Lilisliph won 1st place at the costume contest with her Legion Commander costume. Precise crafting, exquisite details, and a honking sword helped her knock out all competitors. Need I say more?

Drow Ranger by Thea Steele

Thea Steele is as beautiful as the icy Drow Ranger herself. Wielding a bow and icy arrows, Thea’s costume is enhanced by her Precision Aura, every detail meticulously added. Standing apart from the crowd, she waits for the next wrong doer to cross her path.

Raijin by immortallolzzz

One of the less frequently seen cosplays at TI6, this Raijin was just electrifying. Taking a quick food break before his next battle, or photo op, he seems caught a bit off guard. You can tell, however, the effort that Immortallolzzz put into the costume.

Ancient Apparition by Reinessa

Reinessa, better known as one of the Dota 2 hosts and Dota 2 streamer on Twitch. tv, is also an amazing cosplayer. Strutting her stuff as an Ancient Apparition, she nails the otherworldly look perfectly. Having the autograph/message wall as her background enhances the effect as well.

Ember by wazelei_; Antimage by Jamison Stone

A fun showdown between Ember and an Antimage takes place at TI6. Both costumes are extraordinary. Embers blades look sharp and ready to draw blood, while the rest of the costume is on point. Antimage is a glowing nightmare, with LED lights on his arms, legs and in his blades. Such amazing dedication to the characters they have chosen to become.

Small groups can be seen throughout an event such as TI6. Seeing people who cosplay a character you love or meeting others you’ve known online is one of the highlights of a convention or gaming event. Here a couple Meepos, Pudge, Lina, and Omniknight gather before battle.

At events like this, group photos are the norm. Featuring a variety of heroes, including Sniper, Crystal Maiden, Lina, Rajin, and more, this group really showcases the astounding talent seen at TI6.

Poof Meepo – the mid game carry

    2. Pros/Cons
    3. Play Style
    4. Advanced clone tactics and skill explanations.
    5. Advanced Blink Dagger Play.
    6. Teamfights

    Introduction

Meepo was one of my favorite heroes in Dota 1 and now hes been released in dota 2. He is one of the best farming heroes in the game. He can split push all by him self due to his ultimate ability allowing you to keep all the lanes pushed up if needed.

    Pros/Cons

    Pros

      Fun
      Huge Nuke damage
      Sorta a Carry
      Earthbind is boss
      ability to farm multiple lanes
      easily able to clear jungle

      Squishy
      Micro oriented
Some times tricky to land skills
can be easily countered with high burst
      extremely low base damage

    Play Style

When you first start out in a lane youll notice you have a really low base damage. This makes farming at this stage rather tricky. However, because Meepo is very level dependent rather then item dependent this isn’t such a bad thing. play extremely safe from levels 1-6 because of the low amount of HP you have and your low base damage. You really will only be able to harass if you are laning with some one who has a slow or if they initiate on you at this stage. One thing people usually miss when they first play meepo is that poof can be used with out a clone as an effective aoe nuke. This makes it easy to kill some one who is tower diving you and melee.

When you hit level 6 you’ll be able to start moving around and doing more things. If you can land an earthbind (or your lane partner lands a stun) try to get up as close as possible then spam poof with your main hero and your clone. The idea here is that because you are in melee range you will get both the entrance and exit damage effectively doubling the damage of the spell, I. E. 140 becomes 280 and with the clone it becomes 520. With a point in geostrike you’ll be able to slow them from here and eventually use the poof combo again to finish them off. If they are a particularly fast hero or have invisibility make sure to use both of your earth binds in succession to keep them from running away.

When you either start to loose towers or the other team starts teaming up, start to split your clones and hero up into different lanes. I tend to have my clones all in one lane or split into 2 if I have 4 of them and my hero in another. Even if you aren’t the one farming the gold here you should be able to get double or even triple the xp that a normal hero would get just by being in the lanes. This gives you a huge advantage. If you aren’t the highest level hero in the game after doing this then you are doing something wrong. Also when you get 2 clones it becomes extremely easy to push a lane by your self. You can use your poof to simply kill all the creeps. Doing 800 damage in an aoe makes this extremely easy. Also at this point your geostrike will make finishing off stragglers a breeze.

Advanced clone tactics and skill explanations.

A few people have suggested skilling earthbind after poof and then geostrike. IMO this is extremely situational. If you are faced with invis heroes or heroes with great escape/movement, this can be good to force a hero down into its place as the range on a maxed earth bind is ridiculous. Maxed Geostrike on the other hand allows you to maximize the damage your clones and hero does because all of them stack. (with 2 clones you get 3 separate instances of geostrike on the target, with 3 you’ll have 4 etc.) When coupled with an AC you can slow people better then the zombies from undying’s totem. Imagine getting one strike from 5 meepos on one hero. This is technically a 100% movement slow. This is exactly why when I go for a Geostrike early build ill rush a Scepter.

Because of the nature of this hero, some more advanced tactics can involve sending in a lone meepo or getting a blink dagger and blinking on top of a lone hero while poofing your clones to your meepo to do a surprise amount of damage. This is an extremely effective way of ganking some unsuspecting int/support hero and or low HP carry. This is also the reason why meepo is up with undying on the “anti-gank” category. When some one trys to take out a clump of meepos who are pushing a lane far into enemy territory, it is very easy to poof away and keep pushing a different lane. Think of this like the Morphling ultimate except there is no time limit.

Lastly, I wanted to touch on the reason why i chose Str treds to be the core boots for this build. Meepo has a really low amount of HP naively and because his clones only get the benefit of auras and his boots, using Str treds to boost their hp is very important. Even if you were to get a reaver on meepo, it would only add 8 str to each clone while str treads grant 10 str.

    Advanced Blink Dagger Play.

To pull off some of the magic that you can do with a blink dagger requires quite a bit of micromanagement. Due to this, I have decided to devote a complete section to this area. Dota 2 devilish meepo guide A lot of the other guides for meepo center around getting a blink dagger as fast as possible, but i think for pubs, this is wrong simply because the skill required to pull off such a tactic is extremely demanding, that being said, i think its still a reasonable way of playing meepo.

So youve decided to get a blink dagger on meepo and you probably don’t really know where to start with it due to the fact that the original hero only gets its benefits. the Blink dagger meepo gives a lot of versatility to how you can play however, because of its general nature. Imagine if you will seeing a lone meepo running around. Very tempting to gank. But then out of know where, 3 other meepos poof in and you die from the burst or you at least come close to dying. This is the idea behind this tactic. Whether it be offensive or defensive, the blink dagger can be a great tool for meepo.

Here’s the basic technique. activate Poof on all your original meepo, then blink in. If timed correctly when your hero meepo arrives next to the hero you are ganking, the clones will also arrive with a lot of damage. Again, I sa >

    Teamfights

Your goal in team fights is to get one of your “heroes” into melee range, whether through earth bind spams or a blink dagger, you can then pull off a full rotation of poof to do a ton of damage to their entire team if they are clumped up enough. Beware though, if one clone dies you die. If one clone starts to loose HP fast, make sure to micro him back out of the fight. If they have high burst you will probably have to make sure you initiate with the main hero and then fall back to a clone you’ve left behind. This can be a very effective method of doing lots of damage and keeping your self alive.

Anyhow, I will continue to update this as I continue to play this hero. Have fun guys.
