I have 400+ games on Nyx, and I always miss impale.
1. make the impale directed by the hero. I have been waiting for 3 years. This is the only hero who causes a negative team because of misses
2. damage impale raise at least up to 320
3. This hero can not kill even a support receiving a ultimate
4. Bristleback with a tarrasque kills Nyx assassin in a pit under a fountain that’s okay?

I play Nyx all the time and I hit 19 out of 20 stuns. It’s not hard. As for his damage, he isn’t supposed to kill people by himself. His goal is to disrupt enemies by stunning them, burning off their mana, or, well, stunning them again. Stop buying Dagon like the 1k player you are, and get an urn, blink dagger, and lotusorb. Learn, don’t complain.

idk about you, but this base 5hp/sec regen makes him super efficient in lane. Yes, he is not the assasin he used to be, but saying you cant kill cm is just hilarious.

hit with vendetta, stun level 2, mana burn level 2, carapace level 1 (if she attacks) and URN. i cant think of a way cm is gonna survive that

i personally play with level 1 stun and max carapace and mana burn. laning with mana burn is super anoying, dont forget that nyx is a pos 4 right now, maybe pos 3 if the other teamates tanky, but still, you dont expect him to be the ultimate killer. at TI he was played as a support.

the assasin title, fits him perfectly since he is a sneaky mofo who fast nukes you. PA is an assasin too but if she only have a boot, she cant kill ♥♥♥♥

0.5-1 seconds just makes the hero sometimes useless, the opponent just can make a step aside while I cast 1 skill. I’m sick of it. I think many will agree that Lion has a similar 1 skill, and I want the skill to be exactly like Lion. More than that, I’m sure that the damage from 1 skill is too low.

How the heck is using nyx’s stun considerd hard? All you have to do is level up his stun and carapace.. Let the enemy player hit you while carapace and use impale for a double stun. Or go ahead and build atos. Besides, you literally only pick nyx when the opponent team has a bunch of squishy heros (Such as certain supports).. If opponent team go in with alot of tanky/hp based heroes than ofcourse nyx falls off since he isn’t made for that kind of situations.. Nyx is mostly a situational pick, so wait for 4th or final pick. Besides, he’s only as good as your skill with him reaches.. Want more damage? Get deso/daedalus/thorn. Want attack speed? Get moonshards/assault curais/Butterfly. Want HP/Mana? Get heart/orchid or something else that boosts that.

Literally everything you describe can be given to him.. You say that you played 400 matches with nyx, but have you even considered trying other ways to build him or to pick him in the most optional situation? 400 matches played with him and it really sounds like you don’t have the right experience to play him.. Every hero has it’s strong points/weak points. But if you have played so many matches with a hero and still can’t adapt to your own game than that hero really isn’t suited for you..

Command line parameters: run in a window, skip intro, use single CPU core, etc.

From searching the Internet, I discovered that there are some command line toggles for SimCity that can be added to one’s shortcut that starts SimCity. They are (in order of usefulness):

-CPUCount:X (where X is the number of CPU cores to use) This is an important option on multi-core systems, especially if you are having crashing to desktop issues with Windows Vista or Win7. Setting to one core (-CPUCount:1) could resolve your issues. Also this can keep SimCity on one core while other processes use your other cores. This can be especially useful if you have dual monitors and want to run SimCity on one monitor while you do other stuff on your other monitor.

-intro:off This will cause SimCity to skip the long and noisy intro sequence SimCity goes through every time it starts. I think after the twentieth of starting this game we know it is by Maxis a division of EA Arts.

-w This causes SimCity to run as a window instead of full scree, which can allow one to quickly switch to other tasks. My advise when using this toggle is to make sure the task bar automatically hides itself or it will cover up part of the SimCity window as SC does not run as a complete resizable window as other Windows programs.

-rXXXxYYYxBB Controls the resolution and color bit mode SC runs at. Valid values for XXXxYYY are 640×480, 800×600, 1024×768, 1280×1024 and 1600×1200. Valid choices for BB are either 16 or 32. This can be handy if SimCity won’t start because you set its resolution too high.

-CustomResolution:enabled Allows the use of Aspect ratios other than 4:3 to be used with the – r command above (e. g. 1360×768).

-CPUPriority:low This sets SimCity’s process priority to low, which is useful when used in conjunction with window mode and custom resolutions if you want to run SimCity while still being able to do other things on your computer.

-UserDir:[path] (e. g. – UserDir:D:\SimCity\OtherRegions\) This is useful if you want to play different regions and have a shortcut that automatically takes you to the other regions. Basically you create an alternate regions folder and put the other region in this folder. If there are spaces in the file path you need to wrap the file path in quote marks. The trailing slash must be on the path name.

-f switches SimCity back to full screen mode. I’m not sure of the purpose of this switch as SC starts in full screen mode normally.

To use these switches you would modify the “Target” of you shortcut for SimCity as follows:

Notice how the path to the SimCity executable is wrapped in quotes and the toggles are outside of the quotes. This is really important.

Abaddon/Lore

When the infant Abaddon was bathed in the Font, they say something went awry. In the child’s eyes there flared a light of comprehension that startled all present and set the sacerdotes to whispering. He was raised with every expectation of following the path all scions of Avernus took–to train in war, that in times of need he might lead the family’s army in defense of the ancestral lands. But Abaddon was always one apart. Where others trained with weapons, he bent himself to meditation in the presence of the mist. He drank deep from the vapors that welled from the Font, learning to blend his spirit with the potency that flowed from far beneath the House; he became a creature of the black mist.

There was bitterness within the House Avernus–elders and young alike accusing him of neglecting his responsibilities. But all such accusations stopped when Abaddon rode into battle, and they saw how the powers of the mist had given him mastery over life and death beyond those of any lord the House had ever known.

The top 10 most expensive Dota 2 items available on the Steam market. I explored the market to find out the skins sold fairly at a high price during September 2018.

In the market there are thousands of items sold at an inaccurate cost, often in an attempt to scam the buyers. To give credibility to this list, I included only the items that have been already traded in the past and the recent average price range.

Unusual Golden Baby Roshan

Item currently not available. From the April 2018 list.

Average price: $1,800

Last sold on January 31 for $1,800

An immortal courier awarded to players that made it in the Sugar Rush Hall of Fame during Diretide 2012.

It utilizes the same model of the standard Baby Roshan courier – listed for $2-3 – but has golden textures and effects.

In the game, there are Baby Roshans available with different effects, and they are all very expensive: Platinum, Ice, Lava, Dark Moon, Desert Sand, and Jade.

Legacy Enduring War Dog

Average price: around $1,000 – very variable cost depending on the effect

A Mythical courier, originally released on May 31, 2012. Legacy couriers are old but expensive couriers which were given an unique random color and a Prismatic: Legacy gem.

Platinum Baby Roshan

Average price: $1,700

Last sold on September 10 for $1,725

An immortal courier awarded to players that made it in the Sugar Rush Hall of Fame during Diretide 2013.

It utilizes the same model of the standard Baby Roshan courier – listed for $2-3 – but has platinum textures and effects.

The color of the textures isn’t the only distinction among the various Baby Roshans, but also the gems are different.

For example, the Golden Roshan has Ethereal: Touch of Midas and Prismatic: Midas Gold, the Platinum one has Ethereal: Ionic Vapor and Prismatic: Pristine Platinum. They create custom effects and change the color of the particles.

Genuine Axe of Phractos

Average price: $1,500

Last sold on August 10 for $1,380

A mythical weapon for Axe obtained in genuine quality by buying the Axe figurine from the WETA workshop. It is no longer available.

Later on, Valve included this item in the Trust of the Benefactor 2016 treasure as an ultra rare drop. Three copies of the treasure were given to all players with The International 2017 Battle Pass. Only 25 copies of this item could be unboxed worldwide.

Genuine Monarch Bow

Last sold on September 14 for $1,574

A mythical weapon for Drow Ranger acquired in genuine quality by purchasing the Butterfly Sword from the WETA workshop. It is no longer available.

Also the Monarch Bow was included in the Trust of the Benefactor 2016 as an ultra rare drop.

The original mount was a tiger, but before the release Valve transformed it in a moon rabbit. Later on, they introduced also the tiger as a second style following the community feedback.

Dragonclaw Hook

An immortal weapon for Pudge, formerly of mythical rarity. It is one of the oldest rare items, and was released in the Sithil’s Summer Stash on July 12, 2012. Valve accidentally re-added it to the drop list in February 2013, but removed it soon after.

Also this item was added to the Trust of the Benefactor 2016 as a rare drop. Only 200 copies were available worldwide.

Its price increased recently, perhaps due to the announcement of the upcoming Pudge’s Arcana. Dota 2 bundle item

True Sight is the documentary series that has covered some of the biggest teams and competitions in the world of Dota 2. Previous episodes have focused on competitions such as The Boston and Kiev Majors, while others have taken a look at how teams prepare for these events.

This episode, much like the one for the Kiev Major, joins the two finalist for TI7 as they prepare for the grand final. Team Liquid have been on an incredible lower bracket run and come in with some good form and confidence, while Newbee have looked like the undoubted best team in the competition for some days.

The film had unprecedented access to the teams, listening into their private conversations while in game and in between games. We get to see the reactions of the winners and losers as the celebrations take place, which gets quite emotional at times.

Fortunately the documentary is quite general, and doesn’t feature too much in the way of Dota jargon and in game footage, so this is a good watch for everyone, even those who don’t understand Dota or even those who don’t play games.

Fails: Short minute-long clips showcasing a single fail or funny moment without commentary.

Fails of the Week: Similar to Top 10 Weekly, these videos are a weekly compilation of user-submitted clips. Rather than showing impressive clips, however, this series displays players making often humorous or otherwise unfortunate mistakes. Danil “Dendi” Ishutin (born December 30, 1989) is a Ukrainian professional Dota 2 and former DotA player. Well known for his solo mid skills, he is regarded as one of the most creative players in the scene today, and is renowned for his unorthodox play style and unconventional skill and item builds. After having played for Natus Vincere for the entirety of his professional Dota 2 career, he finally departed the active roster for the first time in September 2018. He currently plays for The Pango.

Biography [ edit ]

Born in Lviv, Ukraine, Dendi got an early start with competitive gaming in net cafes when his elder brother married, moved out and took the family’s PC with him. Dabbling with Counter-Strike first, he soon found Warcraft 3 where he played in local tournaments and built a love for the competition and a thirst to be the best. Though he was quite successful in Warcraft 3 and even won a few local championships in Lviv, he knew he had found his calling when he stumbled upon DotA. He picked up the game quickly and played it almost exclusively over the next few months.

Beginning with learning only supports, he practiced heavily and was quickly vouched to the IHCS1 league and soon created his own team for tournaments in Lviv. After he led his team to a championship in Kiev, he was drafted by a team called “Wolker. Gaming” and began his professional career at 17.

DotA [ edit ]

Dendi started playing professionally with WG in 2006. [1] He was a part of the Ukrainian squad that finished third in MYM Prime Nations the same year. Only a few months later WG made it to the grand final of one of the most prestigious tournaments at the time; MYM Prime Defending. [2] When Kingsurf. international merged with WG the next year he became a full-time member of Ks. int. [1] In late 2008 he joined DTS, only to return to Ks. int in March 2009. [3] Three months later though, Dendi returned to DTS. [4] The team would end up finishing 2nd at ESWC 2010. At the end of 2010, Dendi and DTS finished 3rd at the prestigious WDC 2010. [5] Dendi joined Natus Vincere at the end of 2010. [6]

Dota 2 [ edit ]

Dendi started his Dota 2 career with Na’Vi, who quickly established themselves as one of the best teams in the world by winning The International 2011. Na’Vi continued to dominate and won many tournaments in the years 2011, 2012 and 2013. Dendi was the center of Na’Vi’s consistent stable and skilled rosters, with his performance greatly contributing to their success.

The Natus Vincere Dota 2 team achieved significant success with Dendi as their midlaner during the first few years of the game; they finished as the runners-up for both The International 2012 and The International 2013, losing out to Invictus Gaming and Alliance, respectively. 2013 would mark the last year of Na’Vi and Dendi’s dominance in the Dota 2 scene, as they only recorded two LAN victories since January 2014. The International 2014 saw Na’Vi and Dendi finishing the tournament outside of the top 2 for the first time and the following two Internationals, TI 5 and TI 6, they would finish in last place. The results would deteriorate further, as they would fail to even qualify for The International 2017, they failed to advance out of the group stage of the regional qualifiers. This marked the first year of The International tournaments without Dendi attending as a player. The 2017/18 season started of promising for Dendi and Na’Vi, who dominated the CIS scene in the early months, crowning their improving results with their second LAN victory since 2014. However, the second half of the season saw the roster break apart and finally the team would fail to even reach the regional qualifiers for The International 2018, after losing in the open qualifier.

Four years of roster instability and poor results finally took their toll on the reputation of the Na’Vi organization and on Dendi’s status as a legendary player and a top tier midlaner. After 8 years playing mid on Na’Vi, Dendi was finally removed from the active roster in September 2018. However, Dendi vowed to continue playing professionally. After a brief stint on Tigers, Dendi joined The Pango.

Froggen Returns: Echo Fox Win over Renegades

The game lasted just over 30 minutes. The winning team only gave up 4 kills, and destroyed 11 enemy towers. The game ended with a 10,000 gold differential. If not for the headline titling this article, it’s probably safe to assume that you would not expect the winner of this described game to be Echo Fox.

Echo Fox has been the North American team hurt most by Riot’s hardened stance on players needing the correct work visas in order to participate in the LCS. For multiple weeks the team was forced to dress a lineup that was four fifths of Ember; a North American challenger series team. The Ember infused lineup performed exactly how you would expect an inexperienced challenger series team to perform against LCS teams; losing every game.

It was announced earlier in the week that star mid laner Froggen, and rookie Korean top laner kfo, would both return to the team for this weekend’s NA LCS matches. The intended lineup will be re-united for their games against Renegades and Team Dignitas. These are the match ups Echo Fox believes they can win. The team knows they are unlikely to compete against the CLG/C9/Immortals of the NA LCS, but they still plan to aim for a sixth place finish and avoid relegations.

Echo Fox could not hand pick a better matched opponent than Renegades for their first game back since the beginning of the season. Renegades have struggled heavily, swapping out their support and top lane roles in desperation for a spark to ignite their lackluster performances. Veteran players Alex Ich and Crumbzz have not looked good either. Even still, as Froggen would later state in an interview, Echo Fox is in no position to be underestimating opponents with a 1-7 record of their own going into their game against Renegades.

Despite both teams entering the game with the same 1-7 record, it would not be a close game. Echo Fox would lead Renegades in gold from 7 minutes onwards, never falling behind for the rest of the game. Echo Fox was finally able to operate with some cohesion among all 5 players in the game. The language barrier did not seem to affect Korean top laner kfo, who would make a handful of perfectly timed teleport plays when he was not keeping the enemy Quinn at bay. Jungler Hard looked good on Elise, and Froggen’s Corki was everything you would expect from the legendary mid laner.

The game was a clean win for Echo Fox lead by Froggen, but the underwhelming Renegades aren’t a very good measuring stick for performance. Saturdays game against the inconsistent NRG eSports will certainly present an opportunity for Froggen and Echo Fox to make a statement.

If this GBM shows up in Sunday’s game against Echo Fox, it will be hard to stop NRG.

NRG fell to CLG in their game on Saturday and will be looking to rebound against Echo Fox on Sunday. This game is not a write off. Many thought NRG would stick to a top 3 spot in the NA LCS after they started the season with a series of convincing victories, but they have since suffered from inconsistency. Mid laner GBM has proven his ability, at times, to hard carry games by stealing barons and dominating team fights. In other games GBM is virtually invisible.

The mid lane match up between Echo Fox’s Froggen and NRG eSports’ GBM will be a major deciding point in Sunday’s game. If Froggen is able to shut down GBM, Echo Fox will have an opportunity to 2-0 their Week 5 matches and improve to a 3-1 record with Froggen in the lineup.

Echo Fox is set to take on NRG eSports tomorrow (Sunday) at 3PM EST.
