The damn chance is very very low. I opened like 50+ chests and 90% of the time get commons. And only 1 gold tier set dropped.

So the chances might be
90 out of 100 for common
10 out of 100 for rare
1-2 out of 100 for very rare
0.1-0.3 out of 100 for extremely rare

This thing is not tradable or marketable so you have to try your luck for it. Devoted people are buying lots of commons and uncommons from the market to craft chests, which is kinda good, relieves Valve from all that useless old junk. Personally I recycled 1/4 of my armory for nothing.

Not on my case though. I opened a coin treasure and it included 2 items from the Gold tier.

1. Timber Set – Gold Tier
2. Golden Rubick Mantle – Gold Tier

But my luck only happens with worthless items. With the Bewitching Flare, the Tools of the Hellsworn, the Relics of Ribbi’tar. things like those make me cri everytime.

i heard wd bundle is really hard to get coz you can put prismatic gem in that item

Lol I got 2 bewitching flare.

I was able to trade one so it’s alright. The only thing I’m missing is the WD bundle.

I hadn’t really thought about it much, but this line kind of got me: “The fact that Valve hasn’t released the odds and hasn’t explained anything at all about the item just further indicates that it is a blatant attempt to choke the market and raise overall market prices.”

Well no duh. They’ve been trying to regain some control over the market ever since the fiasco that was the TI4 Compendium XP boost. In terms of having an actual market, needing to use electronic storage space to record thousands upon thousands of penny-items doesn’t make a lot of sense. When commons sell for 3 cents and rares for 4-5, normal market forces aren’t at work here.

From day 1 I’ve said that what DotA needs is a REAL crafting system for people to feed all the worthless junk they don’t want into. This is the next best thing.
