i set the game to fullscreenmode but does nothing, the window behave the same as windowed fullscreen.
on directx fullscreen mode the mouse cursor get locked on the primary monitor, and override programs color options like flux.

but with vulkan fullscreen dota behaves is the same as windowed fullscreen: the mouse is not locked and goes to the second monitor, and the game color got a warmer tint cause flux thinks dota is in windowed mode.

The mouse gets locked when you are in a match. I see no difference in behavior for Exclusive Fullscreen in – vulkan and – dx9. Can you please provide more details?

for example:
when i use exclusive full screen dx9, the flux program doesnt change the screen to warm colors. cause dota is in fullscreen exclusive mode.
the only way to flux affects the screen warm colors in dota is set the dota screen in windowed full screen on dx9, as intended.

when i use exlusive full screen vulkan, flux changes to warm colors in dota. Grillhound dota 2 full effect hosting that means that exclusive fullscreen in vulkan behave the same as if dota was in windowed fullscreen mode.

flux site if you want to try it.

It is also possible to verify that Exclusive Fullscreen is not working by changing the system volume on Windows 10 or Windows 8, as the volume scale will not appear when it is working.
I also noticed that with Vulkan Exclusive Fullscreen is treated like Borderless Fullscreen, but this can also be a driver problem. Exclusive fullscreen is useful as it may give more FPS in some cases, my notebook with a nVidia 650M GDDR5 and DX11 gets 10-15 fps more on exclusive fullscreen (and achieves a max of 40-60 FPS), but it has no effect with DX9 (that achieves only 35-45 FPS). With Vulkan I get a little less than DX11 with borderless fullscreen, 40-50 FPS) on the same machine. Exclusive fullscreen may allow Vulkan to match DX11, or surpass it if we are lucky.

Hello @dumbdumb, this appears to be an issue with f. lux and detecting vulkan fullscreen applications and should be brought to the attention of the f. lux devs if this is not already resolved (previously noted at #3 (comment)).

Exclusive fullscreen by definition is supposed to have exclusive use of a display, so overlays like volume controls are not expected to be visible.

Closing as there does not appear to be something actionable by a Valve dev in this issue report.
