Dota 2 troll mask of madness drow

One of the teams in the international C9 plays a lot of Drow (compared ot other teams). Their player EternalEnvy (pretty popular player) loves going mask of madness with her. I’m assuming thats why they gave it to her as an item.

I guess that makes sense and thanks for the contribution to the discussion!
Anyways despite that i dont think it is something that is TYPICAL of a core build. I dunno, i was disappointed to see it on a hero like her i guess

Its for fast attack/movement speed much like other hero would need it (FV etc).

MOM on drow has been popular since dota 1 but most people dont go straight on it cos you will die fairly quick with it. Unless you got a good timing, you basically owning with it early game (this depend on how you lvl drow skill set).

As for me, depends on enemy hero pick, my starting item with drow will always be power thread and mom then the rest.

Is it just me or could this item have been better adapted to a hero that uses it in its CORE build (like Faceless Void). Just my two cents

A lot of damage + great attack speed and a small life steal is pretty good. That’s why.

Drow with lothars and mask of madness can silence an enemy, turn on the mask and kill the enemy hero in 1-2 seconds.

are we discussing the “cosmetic” MoM for drow or building MoM on Drow? because that inmortal its just awful, and the new loadout animation make her looks like a impatient psycho? dunno but she looks like she is doing meth with that kinetic gem.

Also, that “blades” for Morph, dafuq, the concept is amazing but I believe the creators make the blades fit into morph by force, it dont fit his theme despite those are a tribute to ethereal blade I believe

Before everone goes on discussing builds lets get on thing straight
1: despite the points you have given me being true, Mask is still not an item built on drow very often. In high skill games maybe, but she isnt particulary a popular pick in those games anyways. Thats why i think faceless, a hero YOU ALMOST ALAWAYS build a mask for should have had it IMO

2: we are ALSO discussing wether the COMETIC ITEM is suited to her, not wether the item in-game is useful for a build.
