Skadi is an odd one in general.

Also Linken’s would’ve still blocked Cold Snap, (A) Blink Strike, (A) Nasal Goo, the potential Abyssal Blade from Slark or Druid.

It’s not a bad item honestly. Combined with a Desolator it can be very powerful. I think in most cases a Linken’s is the best option but against the line up that you were against it wasn’t that great.

It’s situational. Skadi gives great stats and a nice attack speed and movement slow. It also makes you very tanky. But weaver’s ability to escape and kite makes the slow from skadi less relevant in a 1v1. Deso is a great item on weaver because it drastically increases his single target damage which allows him to quickly pick off supports in team fights. Skadi gives him that tankiness but isn’t as efficient damage-wise as a deso. That being said, the change in weavers passive to be affected by unique attack modifiers makes thew skadi pick up justifiable when stacked with lifesteal, which cannot be done with the deso. That damage loss from not having the deso can be recovered with a deadalus, making you a very hard to lock down and even harder to kill carry capable of insane single target dps.
