Edit: it didnt make sense to me since i bought the healing ward from the set a while ago and it changed the ability icon for it! So i thought only the sword would do it

Actually the icons should change when you equip your sword, but it didn’t worked for my friend with a set, he had to equip all set for icons to change.
BTW, perhaps your sword is without kinetic gems?

I have no clue, it wouldnt make sense cause it would need 3 sockets for all the kinetic gems am i right? And they should be default on the sword itself?

This is community market, man, guy could just take out all 3 gems with the art. hammer tool and sell the sword and gems separately.
Yeah, they are default. But i am pretty sure now that you got “scammed” and you bought vanilla sword without any gems in it

I guess ill just have to use the sword without the effects ^^ Ill be more careful in the future

You can buy the gems separately and put em in your sword, but i am not sure how much they’re worth. Well there is a link i gave you, all gems from this set are listed there

Yeah, you need empty sockets for the gems, but you can take out old gems instead to make a room for a new ones
